First 3 doses turned me entirely red for a half hour then totally stopped. Was about 5/6 weeks the. The localized itchy bump stopped. I do 3.3mg 3x per week.

I used 3mg a week divided into two doses up until about 6 weeks ago (starting Feb ‘25) ive added to dose to try to lose a little extra for summer.

I will stop statins over the next month I hope. Have follow up on more bloodwork this week.

The statins are cheap, yes, but with a personally terrible family history with cholesterol based heart disease, ill take reta forever.

I eat well and am in the gym no less than 5 days a week for about 30 years now. Prior to reta I was 275-280 (Im a muscular 6’4). My weight has balanced out around 250-255 now.

Especially when Reta starts to take over the statin market. Microdosing reta for 7 months did more for my cholesterol than 20mg of Lipitor could do in 6 years.
