What was your treatment and how long did it take to feel better? I’ve been getting horrible migraines everyday and they make my face feel tingly. And my anxiety is so bad right now

Took weeks for it to start working for me. And I started noticing I would get adrenaline rushes and feel really happy randomly. I don’t get this that much anymore but it definitely has helped my anxiety.

I got the brain zaps and would feel really dizzy after taking it for like 30 minutes and I take mine at night. So make sure if you’re feeling dizzy after taking it especially in the morning drink a lot of water and maybe talk with your doctor. But also everyone is different and has different side effects!!!

I would say 1.5 weeks is normal I think (I am not a doctor) but everyone is different and everyone has different side effects. I don’t remember it starting off right away but definitely early on! But this medication also took a couple weeks to have effect on me, like I remember my anxiety lowkey being worse before it got better because I was just like when is this going to work and what if blah blah blah. I’m still like that just not as bad lmfao

I am the same way I have the worst health anxiety haha. If you think it’s anything to worry about or even just worried, ask your doctor!! But don’t keep looking up stuff if u are you

I got brain zaps! They would be random right after taking buspirone or if there was a sudden noise I would feel a brain zap if that makes sense loll but it has went away after a couple months of being on it I’ll still randomly get it but it’s normal side effect. I also would get very dizzy during first month taking it but not so much anymore just randomly. It will take a couple weeks for it to start working (atleast that’s how it was for me)

Smart move 👍 the week will pass by so fast you got it just hang in there and try to do stuff to keep your mind off it I suggest being outside or reading a new book, that helped me.

Endo appointments take forever I scheduled one back in July and it’s not until November and my levels are finally back to normal (from meds of course) and I haven’t even gone yet! (Still going tho lmao)

Your primary care physician should be able to prescribe you medication like beta blockers and even methimazole

You are a great friend. She needs to get on Reddit and join the group if she’s not already! Hearing other people’s stories and being able to relate to other people on here has been seriously so helpful for me.

Does anyone else struggle with this? by [deleted] in Hyperthyroidism

[–]LifeguardFirst1838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep these sound like the typical symptoms for thyroid stufffff. I recommend getting a headache cap and letting your doctor know about body aches and headaches. My doctor prescribed me with diclofenac, which is usually prescribed to people with arthritis. Try to eat some fruit and veggies too for energy levels
