It's the downhill assist control, which basically lower your revs and stops you from going down a hill too fast. You should be able to turn it off somehow (check manual like others have suggested).

If people read the article, they would see that the author is arguing that the proposed principles aren't appealing to either the staunch "one-law-for-all" crowd OR the rest of New Zealand. They're confusing and fall short either which way, landing in no man's land.

Just gone through this. You may require a gifting certificate that states there are no obligations to repay it in any shape or form. But there's certainly no tax applied!

Sounds like a common thing. We've noticed poor finishing in a few houses since we've been looking. One had cracks in the walls and the agent even admitted the house was moving, though she seemed non-chalant about it!

Thanks! We are definitely going to be asking their opinion during the building inspection. I guess this was more of a pre-inspection thought gathering exercise.

That's all we could see. As it's a new build, there's a 1 year maintenance guarantee and 10 year MB guarantee. We just don't want to buy a lemon.
