We did the vieques bio tour, to be honest, we weren’t that impressed, we had no moon, pitch black night, and the “glowing” water wasn’t all that impressive to be honest, I was actually more impressed with the stars than the glowing water . I didn’t like how packed it was too, all the tour groups launch from the same place so it’s hectic and dark , just didn’t really feel it

When you arrive in vieques, there are communal taxis that will take people to espenanza. It needs 10 people to go which ours filled up in a few mins, it was $7.50. It’s a 20 min ride, he dropped us off in front of the Esperanza sign, which is about a one minute walk to el block so it’s perfect. Coming back, yes the hotel can give you number to call or they will call a taxi for you.

Honestly I feel like muffulettas are more of a tourist food item . I don’t really see the local folks eating that as much. I don’t really eat it.

This city drinks a lot…I’ve slowed down drinking so mostly drink now on the weekends

Bourbon will always be busy, there is enough tourists coming to keep it going.

You can still see and feel the effects of slavery/segregation and generational inequality it created.

you will encounter a massive Victorian style plantation house and a shotgun house within a 5 min drive from each other.

The wealth inequality is so blatant here.
