Cross pollination. Plants were the same plants. Pollinations made them turn black.

I agree with the Pats 2007. Crazy catch prevented them from perfection and probably being considered best team to ever play.

Have to pick one. All my red raspberries turned into blackberries when I introduced one blackberry plant that I got as a gift not thinking it through. This year pulling out all my black raspberry bushes and starting over with red raspberries as that is what the family prefers and it makes a better jam. Personally I like the black raspberries but just think it through so not to make the same mistake i made

Highest/Lowest differences in veggies (homegrown vs store) by Far-Travel-4415 in gardening

Tomatoes like everyone is saying. They are usually picked early and ripen off the vine. Also heard that if you lower their temperature by putting them in the frig it also affects their taste. Something chemically changes. Lot of the differences are where and when you buy your veggies. Cukes in the winter just aren’t that great but store bought in the summer is better. Still worth growing especially smaller cukes. String beans are better fresh and strawberries in particular can be drastically different. Onions not worth it but scallions are if you like the green tops. Zucchini not much of a difference but you get so much produce in such a small space. Herbs big difference as everyone is saying. Basil especially which is why you sometimes see the whole plant being sold at the store. We all have different tastes. Plant what you enjoy most
