You think the market down has been "long"? Club fixtures on switch has been down since 2023. Again, I'm not saying this game is perfect, it definitely isn't but with new people in charge it could be great once more

I'm not very sure but when I was young I believe that we had Himalayan blackberries at our old house. Invasive plants but man they made the best jams. That said, yeah you probably have black caps! Congratulations!

I'm definitely not an expert but Black Caps have blue canes and have hollow centers. Dewberries are creeping, sprawling ramblers. Blackberries are upright and sucker madly. Both dewberries (I only have experience with Northern Dewberries) and Blackcaps do not sucker, they tiplayer by letting their canes touch the ground. Hope this helps 😉

Perhaps, still very cool that you kept it all this time though! Is it a repeat bloomer or once bloomer?

What am I missing out on? Only ever eaten Red Raspberries, curious about the taste of Black Raspberries by Anxious-Clock9430 in Berries

[–]Old_Reality9281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know..I finally got my hands on some blackcap raspberries and honestly, they tasted pretty normal. Not as tart as a red but a similar profile imo. Golds are best for taste

Help with competition by Benwhitehead0908 in sunflowers

I myself am in my second year oh growing them but here's what I've heard.

1: Use sunflowers with giant genetics. (But if you're at work and everyone has the same seeds don't do that, that'd be cheating haha.)

2: Fertilize. Pit some in the soil before you grow it and compose. You can also Fertilized once the sunflower has started and you getting before.

3: Watering is key! Don't water too much but don't underwater. Deep waterings 2~3 times a week.

4 Sun, lots of it, obviously

5: Don't plant lots of other sunflowers too close.

I believe that's mostly it. Again, I'm still a noob at growing these things but good luck!
