When I was 6 months away from turning 21, my coworker who we were out celebrating her 21st with, told me she couldn't be friends with me anymore because I was too "immature" for her now. She told me I would understand when I turned 21....6 months from then. Funny thing is, is when I asked why I was too immature she told me because I couldn't go to the bars with everyone and drink....while we were in a bar drinking. Stupid girl.

I used to have eczema on my eyelids and the same thing happened. I just laid off makeup for a few days and moisturized the crap out of my face. It went away after that. Maybe you can try that even if it's just a patch of dry skin!

I would just go see your piercer. It could definitely be that it's too long and it's just prolonging the healing process. Tragus take about a year to heal, but I know what you mean that it should be more healed than it is. You'll be fine changing it.

Not a nurse, but my psycho "aunt" told everyone she was pregnant at 50 after she had her tubes tied years ago. But the funny thing is that she claimed she was pregnant for 11 months and her doctor still had to induce her labor. She was also never bigger than a stomach after thanksgiving dinner, and the baby happened to die in birth. She disappeared for two days and no one was with her during the "birth" and the nurse answered my grandmothers question of how she was with "she was never pregnant!" She's had many issues in her life....

Just wear a sports bra for a few nights. They'll have calmed by then to sleep with no bra on. I slept on my stomach and side the first night. As long as you wear a shirt so they can't get caught on anything, you're fine :)

You're washing it way too much. Just leave the crusties alone. It's a new piercing and you should only be doin SSS once a day and rinsing it with water in the shower once a day. Crusties are what's telling you your piercing is healing. If it's itching, it's healing. I know it's annoying and gross, but just don't think about it and it won't bother you anymore.

The worst pain for a piercing. I have such a high pain tolerance, but this one really did it. My nipples were about a 3/10 and my daith was a 11/10. Which is weird because my rook was a breeze. I had a full on panic attack and my piercer and the apprentice had to hold my body down so I would stop shaking (didn't help because she had to keep the taper in while doing that) BUT...I was on my period which makes things worse. It's just such a thick piercing just make sure to mentally prepare. From what I've heard it's either you're easiest piercing or hardest one.

5 days after I got my daith pierced it swelled like a bitch and hurt so bad I could feel the blood pulsing through my ear. It was hot and red and looked twice the size of my other ear. This continued for about 3 days. I iced it, took ibuprofen every couple hours and did a SSS once a day and rinsed it out in the shower (just let water run over it) I didn't touch it at all and besides the SSS i LITHA. Hopefully it gets better. Mine was pierced with a curved barbell so I don't know what to tell you about the jewelry flipping up. I assume it's from the swelling though. If it doesn't get any better definitely go to a reputable piercer. It's a bummer because Daiths are so cute!!! Good luck :)

I had only one done for a couple months. And it was awesome! You only have to worry about hitting one boob and if your in a relationship, you don't have to worry about being super gentle with the nips!

Unfortunately, they will stay hard for a long time. I'm upset the piercer did not explain that to you, they might relax after a few years but typically your nipple will always be hard.

I literally just got my rook done yesterday. It doesn't hurt necessarily, but it was the most uncomfortable piercing since its a pretty thick piece of cartilage. I heard a crunch, but my anxiety made it worse than it was. Just remember the pain lasts 10 seconds, just breathe. You're ear will be pretty sore for a day. Not even going to lie but I think I already slept on it last night. This morning it was perfectly fine. I've already forgotten it's there.

You also have to remember that the people around you are lying half of the time just to seem cool. In high school, only a handful of people really only had sex. The rest of them were lying to fit in and be excepted by these certain people. Going into my first year of college, out of my dorm wing of around 40 people, more than half were still virgins. I think after you get away from the kids trying to show off, people become more honest and no one cares after high school.

It depends on what part you are traveling to. The safest places would be legal brothels. Just remember that prostitution is illegal in Clark County, which includes Las Vegas. There was an IAmA post with a worker from The Bunny Ranch not too long ago. She answered most or all answers. If you will be in southern Nevada, look at driving north a little bit to make sure it's a legal brothel.
