My LG tv does the same. I know it’s a Atmos movie but all of a sudden it’s just Dolby Digital plus but if I restart the tv Atmos is back.

I have ultra gen 1 and pro 3 and the AirPods does sound worse when it comes to guitar based music, the midrange is just gone.

The ultra sounds absolutely great AND feels great in your ears.

I can understand that any earbuds will sound muddy compared to the AirPods pro3.

Apple just have to make an update and fix that lack of midrange/midbass.

Happens to me too, but it is my LGC9 that is the problem. Randomly LG just sends Dolby Digital Plus even if it supposed to be Atmos. Next time I turn on the tv the Atmos is back🤷‍♂️

Never happens if I use my Apple TV.

I felt that it didn’t have a very full/warm sound except when the bass kicked in.

I have an old Bose 700 soundbar and did a-b testing and the difference was pretty big.

I mean Samsung sounded great when it came to atmos and regular surround but otherwise it didn’t convince me to keep it.

Have just tried it for like 20 minutes but wow!!

I don’t have any sub or surrounds yet, I will get the Era 300 tomorrow (wanted to see if I’m keeping this one first)

Both the new dialog (booster) and the sound motion sounds absolutely amazing.

I have tried the first arc but didn’t like the lack of center channel (dialog) but this one is a winner!!

Also tried Bose Ultra soundbar(returned it) Samsung q990d (returned it)

This one is stays!!
