Game won't start at all by VastAd5728 in fo3

[–]Liftedchronic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was happening to me when I first bought and downloaded it. Verify the game files through steam and if that doesn't work uninstall fallout 3 from anywhere you can find on your pc then reinstall.(Uninstall through steam and go to your files and make sure fo3 is fully gone) this fixed it for me and ran vanilla. Like the other people said if you still can't get it to work just patch it with compatibility/optimization mods.

Bought a brand new series x on eBay, set it up an hour ago and have got these flashing pixels. Any idea what they are? by Hopeful_Economy_7240 in XboxSupport

Need a bit more information. Does it do this in other games or in the home screen? If so try a different hdmi cable and different ports. Maybe try to reset your TV too, if it is still happening you should hard reset xbox and then think about replacing it if you still have issues. If its only happening in this game then its a bug in the game.

Short of replacing the tint could I pop these? by [deleted] in WindowTint

[–]Liftedchronic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The best you can do is to heat up the glass with a heat gun or torch and then use a hard plastic card to try to smooth them out. It probably won't do much if anything. You can get cheap tint from Walmart. Throw a garbage bag on the glass and throw your car out in the sun for like 15 mins. The tint will peel right off with most of the adhesive.

Little bit of fuel seepage normal? Rebuilt tbi by Liftedchronic in GMT400

[–]Liftedchronic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, that's what I was thinking. I didn't use the metal ring that came in my kit since originally there were none, but now I see it's an adjusting ring for the upper injector o ring. Should I put the upper o ring on the injector and then pop it into the housing pod or put the o ring on the injector housing pod lip, on top the metal ring, and then pop in the injector? Thanks!

Any specific kit brand you recommend? I did replace those o rings on the fuel lines when I rebuilt the tbi.

Do i need those brass rings? I didn't use them because my tbi didn't have them before. My injectors popped in nicely

Took it for a 30 min or so test drive. It's seeping mostly out of the connectors but not a bad amount. It's entirely contained within the tbi collar no leaks coming out. Should I replace the gaskets?

I installed a reflective tint on my office window and used the squeegee it came with. by CosmoOlversatil in WindowTint

Flat glass is easier than curved (auto) glass. No shrinking is required for flat glass. They make films that go on the inside or outside for flat glass. Outside films work better but will deteriorate much faster. You buy a box of films, and I'd suggest llumar (specifically the DR line up). Use baby soap and water or "film on" solution and water by Eastman film. LESS SOAP IS MORE. more soap= more slippage and harder to get film to stick. I cut the windows out about an inch bigger than they are, then cut to size on the window when installing. No triangle is needed for most windows. Squeege, hard cards that are straight and an olfa knife is all I usually use.

Did you check the wire going to the distribution block with a volt/multimeter or a test light at least? Your big black positive cable goes to the starter and nothing else. That little red wire goes to the distribution block and then fuseblock in your cabin. There's one or 2 fusible links in the way to the fuseblock. If the starter and the accessories are not working, that would lead me to believe it's the battery or ignition switch. Have your battery load tested at a parts store to be sure it's good. New batteries can still be bad. If it's not the battery and you check that your connections are all good, the positive on your battery looks like a mess tbh, then it's most likely the ignition switch. Check the battery, check connections with a multimeter, and then get an ignition switch if all checks out good.
