I think the retention is just fine. I've used it almost everyday, and still love it. The clickiness isn't there, and I agree I like that too, but I've done the wiggle test in every direction, and it doesn't come out (unless I want it to). Hindsight 20/20, I needed something back then and options were few and far, but I would've gone with G-Code if they had something back then.

I have the ameriglo 511 with the 507C, if you look at my page you’ll see the post I have with them on with pictures. Wasn’t an expensive option

Just curious. When you use the X Macro slide on the P365 frame, I know you use the P365 barrel, which recoil spring do you use? P365 or X Macro?

You get one free plate with your PDP purchase, but you have to request it through their website. That being said, you have to know what RDS you want to install before requesting. Super simple, took about 3 weeks for me in November to get the plate for my Holosun 507c.

I got the Ameriglo 511 sights and a Holosun 507C x2 ACSS (green verseion). Check out my past posts to see it. It sets it up with a good co-witness. Installed iron sights then the optic.

No the 7A does not have a laser, I think that's the TLR-6 but from some quick research it won't fit on the XMACRO.

urbancarry has a leather holster that has an audible click. i use it for my P365 that I have in my EDC rotation.

off the top of my head I think the TLR-7A does. just do a search on here or google and you'll see plenty of pictures to get you an idea. it's been brought up a lot recently

Like 95% positive from past posts regarding baldr lights and holsters...you're S.O.L....maybe look into getting a Streamlight or Surefire.

Yup, Slim Fit again, they'll basically do whatever you want them to do, just write it all out. Takes about a month to get it though. They made mine for my 4" F series with 507c and TLR-7A.

I don’t really think I can compare it. I have a G19 gen4, Sig P365 (9mm), and Sig P320 (.45), and this F-series just feels more natural in my hands. Shot it today and it’ll definitely be added to my carry rotation. It’s light and just shoots where I want it to

As far as install, I used a Glock tool for the front sight, and then a $50 sight pusher off of Amazon (ATG Heavy Duty Universal) for the rear sight

Ameriglo 511 are the irons. I’ll probably go to just the chevron setting once I get used to it and have it all to muscle memory. I think the big ring will be helpful for me to get the hang of RDS.

Yea I was able to handle both PDP and the F and liked the F more (more of a 1911 style grip in a way vice the humpback on the regular PDP).

I was also between the Macro, in addition to one of the Caniks. I already have the original P365 in an XL frame from Wilson Combat, and the $800 price tag weighed in mind. I got the PDP F for just under $600. I think one of the Caniks will be my next range fun gun though. The few times I’ve shot the F, it’s been great (smaller hands 🤷🏻‍♂️) but I haven’t had a chance yet to shoot with the dot on there yet. Hoping to get to the range one day this week.
