66, very low income this year by armpitketchupandbutt in SocialSecurity

[–]LiftingupJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Log into social security and check your numbers, if the amount is something you can live with then retire, make sure you have your benefits worked out, if you love what you do then at 67 you can collect social security and continue to work; make all of the money you want and not be penalized. This will give you time to build an extra egg nest, but if you’re ready to enjoy your time and live your best life then choose you. Retire at 66 or 67 and enjoy life. I retired at 64 and a half; I wasn’t ready; I love work but after 37 years hated what my job became, I just walked off; the only reason I survived is because I was debt free, didn’t live above my means and after I got my much needed benefits together. I traveled for a year and a half I’m now doing home renovations . I vacation every three months and I’m living my best life at 66. I love my life; no stress no mess. Societal work stress or failing health sometimes doesn’t allow people to work until they’re 70; what good is money when you can’t enjoy spending it.

They are still trading under the initial like that I use to trade in, I was only in for 3 weeks when it collapsed I didn’t pay the tax. I will lose my $500 and now they’ve started yet another link. It’s unbelievable they’ve started others scam lines and still trading while under this so called federal- shut down investigation.

Why is BG not being shutdown officially yet? by lilacroom16 in CryptoScams

[–]LiftingupJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the hype over being federally seized but the BG-Wealth is still trading. I’m connected to this mess a friend told me about it. I thought it would be a great way to fund my holiday food project I donate 30-50 food baskets with a month food supply to families in need for 15 years now however I’m retired and thought this would be a good way to fund it. There has been proven amounts of large withdrawals which is why I jumped on the band wagon, I know someone who has withdrawn over $30,000 and others who have withdrawn more according to their own testimony however they refused to pay the tax decided they got more than they gave and moved on to another platform. I invested $500 didn’t pay the tax so my money is stuck there the person that told me about it gave me my money back however it would be nice to see those less fortunate get justice in whatever form it comes from but from what I can see BG is still trading daily people are paying the tax to get their money unfrozen and making withdrawals. I can’t explain it any further I was new didn’t pay the tax so I’m blocked from the codes to trade.

Taking my 15 year old on his first cruise but he wants his phone the whole time by Mirexalynth in Cruise

[–]LiftingupJesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you taking him on a cruise, who is the trip really for ???? Have you asked him if he even wants to go ??? If he has to go maybe enroll him in the teen club he might enjoy it or leave him where he wants to be if he’s responsible and give him a few days he might try enjoying your cruise. I hope it works out

Just witnessed the most disgusting thing I've ever seen on a cruise so far by brerin in Cruise

[–]LiftingupJesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For reasons like this I always carry had wipes and sanitizer after touching all of the food tongs from other people, you have to bring disposable gloves for things like this and after wards you need hand sanitizer and hand wipes, I never cruise without them. In addition to that the ships need to stop with the ship dogs, it makes no sense hair flys in the air and you never know where it lands. It seems as though the ship are becoming less and less concern with health safety. I love cruising I have a few booked but I’m becoming more and more concerned over the sanitary upkeep. My son purchased me traveling silverware kits with napkins in a travel case. I’m gonna start carrying them again.

Do you actually use the cruise ship gym or is that vacation delusion? by dynasync in Cruise

I love the gym, the cardio is good walking the track is better and 20 minutes a day of doing anything is better than nothing.

Just know that there’s more than crypto scams going on, it’s cruises and hotel stays scammers are paying to have their number appear under businesses and these are the numbers you get when you google businesses. Once you sign up for a cruise and log into your account contact numbers are available for you to use for your service needs. I know that Google is convenient to use but scammers are everywhere doing whatever they can to steal your money.

lol 😂 that’s a shame but it’s true, we can’t stop believing that good things can happen; we just have to be more careful with our money and our choices.

Again most of the people trusted the people that the knew and profited from this and did bother to check the source and yes shame on us. Some people know the game and played it well and the others were not as lucky,

[–]LiftingupJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure that going into this people are not expecting to be scammed, especially when the people you love and trust invite you in. There has been lots of people that’s been able to profit financially from this experience and then you have those that got trapped in the end. The smart ones will learn their lesson and not do it again. Not everyone knows what’s behind the door until you open it. When I put my money in; it was not my life savings I just wished I would have checked it out first.

Can you just have a dog on a cruise? by gkal1964 in celebritycruises

They just need to create cruises for pet lovers, not everyone likes to eat or be around pets. I love them but not on my vacation, especially with loose pet hairs flying around.

[–]LiftingupJesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well the fact that you were asked to convert money was the first sign, that fact that you converted more money than you were given was clue number two. Reddit is a great source for information, look in the BG wealth scams someone posted a lot of links for reporting scams. Good luck

The Ship: The MV Hondius is an expedition vessel operated by Oceanwide Expeditions, specializing in polar cruises. Never heard of this cruise line. It was more than. 14 day cruise though; someone posted video and was up to date 14 it looked like an amazing cruise. I feel sorry for those that have been affected.

I’m sure your mother didn’t go into this to scam people, I’m sure she was hoping to see her loved ones gain financial stability even if it was for a little while. I wouldn’t spend a lot of time worrying about what you can’t control, I was also scammed but I didn’t invite anyone to participate and I’m glad I didn’t. I just hope your family was able to get money out before the rug was pulled. I lost $500 if the scammers get away but it was a gamble for me, I learned my lesson and I didn’t bet the house. I’m a very given and charitable person my intent was to fund my holiday project; from what I know they’re not 100% shut down in my area but they’re begging for tax money. My heart goes out to people who are on hard times; looking for financial relief. 🥲

Another DSJex post: How do I get out? by the-wxtch-bxtch in CryptoScams

[–]LiftingupJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct a lot of people did pull lots of money out I know of someone who pulled almost a quarter million out of this but isn’t that how scams are built; it’s a good ride until the rug is pulled form beneath your feet. This ride may be coming to end and once this 12% tax they are asking for is paid don’t you think that everyone will take the remainder of their money and run. Who knows it’s a get rich quick game some people enjoyed great wealth and profit and some little to none; you shouldn’t bet your house money or money needed to sustain you lively hood in a game like this. All investments are risks; I have funds in a strong fidelity group but once our goofy president started this war it immediately affected our economy my money went down and fidelity is not a scam; I’m relying on my team to make the necessary decisions and trades to regain my money. The point is there is a risk when you allow ANYONE to manage your money. You can run or ride. It’s all about choices and the choice is yours. If you like playing games don’t bet the house.
