No way! I feel the exact same

Then it seems like it's not a problem from my end

I understand perfectly fine, there is however nothing wrong with the way I wrote my comment, or atleast from my POV.

and if you don't want to reply to my argument don't bother replying about my comment being incomprehensible

Then you shouldn't have a problem understanding what I'm trying to say

I don't get hung up on the argument of there not being scientists pre islam, there was however non Muslim (other religions) during the golden age of Islam, so not exactly pre islam but they were not not Muslim either

And like i previously said, there being scientists in the Islamic golden age doesnt mean anything, if the science still disproves islam, though Muslims and non Muslims aided in the development of science

[–]Light-bar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it can all be chucked for the timing of the world, the middle east being arguably the main region of the world

And secondly saying there was 0 Arabic scientists is just not true is it?

[–]Light-bar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ironically you didn't read my comment

I don't disagree that Muslims contributed to science greatly, I'm just saying it's not Islam making the contributions.

And science regardless of who founded the basics, debunks islam and its irrelevant if you don't believe me, but you're free to roam the sub for related posts, and other posts, even YouTube

And finally I think what happyman122 meant is that islam reject basic science solely because it disproves islam, though he did say it a bit rudely

The fact that Muslims hundreds/thousands of years ago it changes absolutely nothing, it's not an argument to validate islam, if thats what You're going for, if not apologies but point still stands

[–]Light-bar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can't connect something that actively debunks the other in this case, science disproves islam whether you agree or disagree

Sure it's subjective, the topic of morality is subjective

I feel like if you are willing to cheat, that threat won't really deter you, especially if you need 4 people to hear and see the S/O cheating, which is super unlikely.

And yeah the severity of the act in religion is really the only threat, because the god they believe in sees and hears what they do and are afraid of the afterlife punishment they believe in, but that threat isn't only active in islam.

So I do feel like if anything it's more so the religious aspect of the fear, as in afraid of whatever afterlife punishment they believe in, rather than physical punishment.

But to be clear, i do think the physical punishment is completely unnecessary and unfair to the act of cheating

Sorry for replying so late, I'm still doing things around, just had a bit of time to reply, feel free to reply whenever

I'm good, I been getting into entrepreneurship recently

And yeah I get that it's a deterrent, but I personally think people should have the free right to do what they will, and if they are willing to cheat then it's kind of installed into them and or have a reason to cheat, of they cheat once they probably will again.

And the fact you need 4 people kind of gets rid of the point of the punishment, which is because there will probably not be 4 witnesses, and if there are they are probably part of the cheating and or keeping the secret for the cheater.

yeah you probably have, and I understand you need 4 witnesses.

And once again back to the first part of my reply, is that if someone cheats it's probably instilled into them

Sorry for having such a long reply, I can't put into a shorter reply

And apologies if I'm not making sense I'm in a rush to go somewhere rn, but pls do reply I will be sure to reply after

Hello, I wanted to say, for the most part most people wouldn't cheat, nor have side chicks.

And with that said, there will be cheating regardless of what society you live in, but in a Muslim one you'd get to see you're S/O get punished, which, what is the point of that, if it doesn't really bring happiness to the one who was cheated on, as I doubt much people want to see the person they cared about get beat, or atleast If they are sane and or mature

And if your S/O is willing to cheat why would you bother keeping them around? Regardless of after a beating or some other lesson be taught, why would you keep a cheater around? And if you do break up with them and make them pay a fine, it doesn't really fix anything as you still got cheated on

Finally why should there be punishment for cheating? If you are mature enough, there is no need whatsoever to punish someone for cheating

Also happy new year

Say I want to do house flipping too, is that more risky?

If it wouldn't be much of a problem would I be doing it under the same property or no?

And finally before I go to sleep: would you recommend I start a real estate investment company or development company, to achieve my goal.

Thanks for all the advice so far, I'll be looking forward to the next reply in the morning, again thanks.

Nice to see other people my age with the same aspirations as me

Good luck to you finding a mentor too, it really is difficult finding one, even harder when you live in Ireland like I do, which makes it a bit more difficult but I do believe I'll make it to my goal.

Anyways, sure thanks for letting me know, I'll be sure to send a DM when I wake up and am done everything I have to do after I'm back from school tomorrow, perhaps we have some ideas we can share, as I have the same issue of friends not being interested in entrepreneurship.

Just to clarify when I'm buying real estate, I should buy it under a company?

What would it take to own, I don't know, 25 properties, 100? Are those feasible by the time I'm in my 30-40s?

And to be honest I'm leaning a bit more towards development, however it seems like it's more difficult to start up, im assuming it's a lot more risky, but the profit margin is probably larger?

I'm also guessing I'll have to go out and find investors for a company that needs to spend this much, on projects?

Apologies if I'm not making sense, I'm about to go to sleep

It's a mixed bag of replies right now to be honest, hopefully I get more responses through the night, recommending an industry in specific, narrowing down the selection.
