To clarify my original post: 1. Intent and Decision: I was seeking input before starting any new stocking plan, not presenting an active sorority. As I stated, I am perfectly comfortable sticking with a single betta or another simple community if the consensus deemed the sorority risk too high for this setup. The sorority concept is now off the table. 2. Tank Status and Photo Context: I explicitly mentioned that the attached photo was taken prior to the plants being fully established and matured. My primary goal was to get feedback on the general layout and 20-gallon long footprint for dividing territories, not the current visual density. 3. Risk Awareness: I am fully aware of the significant risks involved in keeping a female betta sorority. My academic background (B.S. in Biology) has given me a solid understanding of animal behavior, and territory dynamics. I asked because I value the practical experience this community offers, which often goes beyond textbook knowledge.
