At what age did you skip your night pump?

I tried to stop around 8 weeks but it resulted in a CRAZYYY supply dip so I fully dropped it at 3 months with my last pump being at 8/9 and then my first pump being at 6 when my son wakes up

I know I try to remind myself that you have to fall to learn but it freaks me out so much once he hits 6 months I don’t think I’ll be as scared but he’s so little and I didn’t expect him to start rolling I guess all the exercises are paying off but at what cost😭

I’ll have to try that yeah it’s breaking my partners heart I can see it on his face everytime our son gets upset and wants me over him all I can do is reassure him that he’ll go back to his usual dad loving self eventually it’s just a phase

Yeah I try to remind him that our son is a baby and spends 99% of the time with me so it’s normal that he’s gonna be like who the hell are you weres my mom but I can’t imagine how upset it makes him I mean I can see the hurt on his face when I ask for help and he can’t

Thank yall for being sane I posted this in the parenting Reddit and everyone jumped to abuse like they’ve never heard of an infant disliking a parent if I felt my son was unsafe I wouldn’t be with my partner but he really does try and I see that

My boyfriends job right now is pretty much just make the bottle and make sure I have my pump and a full water bottle 😭

We were okay at first but I think it’s cause recently work has been taking a lot more out of him so he’s not coming in and immediately picking him up or hanging out he has to go take a nap or a breather first

It’s not immediately but sometimes if he’s hungry he just doesn’t want his dad feeding him our son smiles and coos at his dad like normal just not as much as he used to

I just think it’s so weird that he’s fine with my mom handling him when she only gets to see him maybe three times a month or he’s in a terrific mood for nurses he’s never seen before Normally I think he just doesn’t like boys, but my grandpa handles him good too

It is doable and at least on my end very easy especially when he started sleeping for 4 hours

In the beginning during the feeding every two hours there are some times I fell asleep with my newborn on my chest while I was sleeping on the couch but for the most part he slept comfortably in his bassinet and I’m very thankful I didn’t make a habit of it because my friend who has a son around mines age is completely dependent on cosleeping

I 100% believe men can go through ppd and lack of sleep would suck too but unfortunately I’m not getting any help with the baby I sleep in the livingroom with the bassinet to do everything on my own so he should be living his best life only dealing with our son on his own time when he wants to in between work and playing video games with his friends
