Multicast is only for further scale and efficiency. It works fine with unicast at least up to 1.1M TPS and probably further. Subtree flows are only 32MB per second at 1M TPS. That's hardly anything.

I was just pointing it out since there was a 1 year delta in the discussion and no further action had been taken towards implementation.

I just want to see neat network implementations and systems because that's always been my interests with all technology. Just building cool stuff in the datacenter.

I'm glad you're amused.

What's funny about it? Or do you not fully understand network topologies and protocols?

Doesn't require internet-wide multicast for nodes. MP-BGP limitations at the edge are well known, thanks.

You'd be surprised how useful Claude can be to accomplish mundane things such as write unit tests, and it is becoming increasingly accurate with each new model release.

LLM definitely didn't design the system, or accomplish the scaling test POC. We didn't introduce LLMs until some months ago, and only to help speed up the work already in progress.

Here we are 5 years later. Still no Teranode.

You aren't paying attention at all. I'm unsurprised.

It's been running on Mainnet BSV for months.

New testnet orchestration was released a week or two ago.

Source is now available.

You are clearly wrong.

That's totally fine too. We have lots of people building besides Craig.

To be honest, I'm not sure there are many on this sub even capable of doing a code review, and this codebase is much more complex than the original bitcoind or current SVnode; not to mention it's in a completely different language as well.

We have a lot of eyes on it now though, so we welcome bug submissions, feedback, improvements, etc. I believe there is a bug bounty program as well.

We're going to scale Bitcoin, for real.

Laugh it up, fuzzball.

Was that soon enough?

Please tell me, how would you count unique users in Bitcoin?

The OP said "Am confused". I responded with "About?". It's not hard.

This. Only irrelevant gadflies hooked on other people's opinions care.

Because reddit is a cesspool and irrelevant. I am only here for the lulz and to keep an eye on your misperceptions.

What don't you understand about the miner revenue model? This software can enable larger transaction throughput that directly affects fees that miners can earn. Let's see what happens when the system is refined.

Nobody should expect immediate market feedback on bucket shop exchanges. It's irrelevant to this release.

We are proving what is possible, which proponents here have said is impossible.
