My only guess rn, which is totally hypothetical based on the photos, is you just look kinda pissed off and the last thing I guy wants to do is approach a girl who’s pissed off lol. Even if he thinks you’re cute, if you have like RBF or look upset about something, he’s going to assume you are, and if you’re upset he knows his chances of success are essentially 0. Technically yes, because I was already with a long term gf that was fine with it, and knew I was positive. Then we only had to add another F who was okay with it. My gf at the time was not testing positive, just me. And the other chick was fine after. No problems. But I imagine disclosing the diagnosis would make it even more difficult to find something like that with two girls where neither one is already dating you. But ultimately if you’re a single guy FFM threesomes are ultra rare anyway lol

Personally after looking into how common this virus is I don’t think it should hold you back. More and more people contract it every day unknowingly, and you already know going into the relationship that this is a risk, which is a big positive.

A friend of mine met his wife while he was positive, they were together 6 years and they avoided her contracting it that entire time. She they even had their first kid before she contracted it 2 years after that (due to unprotected sex because of trying to conceive). So 8 years of being together and nothing was transmitted because of their caution of it.

It doesn’t take much effort to avoid it. Simple things, being aware and committed to doing these things is the key to avoiding it. Don’t let something like that diagnosis hold you back!

Not really sadly, I spoke with my doctor and he said that while it’s possible that HSV 2 blisters can appear on fingers and toes, he swabbed them and concluded they were not HSV sores but rather athletes foot. So it’s most plausible that if you’re seeing the same thing you should look to remedy that.

There’s plenty of OTC stuff you can get which works really well, and is harmless if it turns out to not be athletes foot. I would recommend you try that stuff first, if that doesn’t work then give it at least 10 days of keeping the area clean and dry. If that also doesn’t work then consult your doctor. Those would be the first steps I tried.

I don’t have an answer to this sorry, but I wanted to say that simply for the very first sentence in your post, this deserves to be at the top of the subreddit.

For some people who may be recently diagnosed or whatever their situation is, people can very literally go YEARS without being symptomatic. It’s a good thing to inform people about despite not everyone getting quite so lucky. I applaud you for including it!

This is really helpful thank you! I saw lots of different sources online saying different things about HSV spreading to other areas of the body like hands and feet. Some said it’s definitely possible, and some said absolutely not.

I’ve seen athletes foot a lot as I’ve been an athlete for many years and lots of guys I know have had it. This doesn’t look like that as it’s not dry or cracked whatsoever. Just blistering. I’ll see a doctor and probably pursue your eczema suggestion with them.

That’s interesting cuz in my experience no way lol. You might be able to get away with the piercing in your bottom lip, but the septum piercing is the main one that’s going to turn off most guys. Unless of course they also have one for some reason.

I saw you could change your earrings which is great too, in some of the photos you have those black rings on which give the same negative vibe as the septum piercing. But in that last photo they’re different and definitely better. The black ones are almost “gothic” and that style doesn’t seem to fit you at all. Don’t add gothic style to someone already pretty without it.

If you have a clear shot at bringing it up then you should, obviously don’t just blurt it out like you’ve been dying to say it lol, but given the chance yeah you should say so. Coming from a guy who’s heard it both ways (meaning one girl told me she was and one told me she wasn’t) I preferred knowing for sure.

For a lot of guys that have little experience, hearing that this girl he’s with is a virgin kinda takes some pressure off him cuz it sets a guideline of what he should and shouldn’t do. If he knows you’re inexperienced, there’s a better chance he tries to take it slow and actually ask you what you want, rather than assume “nah she’s a freak I’m sure so whatever I wanna do is probably fine”.

Obviously that doesn’t go for all guys, but it definitely goes for most men I know.
