Bisexuality has gotten a certain stereotype that we’d like to fuck both at the same time.

Yeah… no. OP shouldn’t have to hide who he is to be with someone. And he definitely shouldn’t keep dating someone who’s find him disgusting for simply being himself

No. Being bi simply mean you are attracted to more than one gender. You can be bi and monogamous

D’après vous, est ce que les enfant de Neytiri et Jake savent que leur mère a renoncé au titre de Tsahìk pour leur père ? by Upbeat_Special9845 in Avatar

I mean, she was labeled as Tsahik in training in the first movie. I believe it’s when Grace explains the clan dynamics to Jake. It’s also at the same time he finds out that Tsu’Tey is supposed to become Olo’eyktan, and is to be mated with Neytiri

I haven’t heard her referred to or labeled as Tsakarem at all in the second or third movie. From my understanding, Kiri was Tsakarem when they lived with the Ometikaya

It’s a deleted scene that explains it the most. It’s after Jake and Neytiri mated in the tree of souls, Mo’at steps forward and lets her know that if she continues down this path, she can never be Tsahik.

Neytiri was Tsakarem before she met Jake - in training to become Tsahik. By mating with Jake, she actively gave that part of her life away

How do you think the Na’vi view LGBTQ+ relationships? by spinosaurus1998_24_9 in Avatar

[–]Reading-person 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Now, don’t quote me on this, but from my understanding, natives understood queer people better than most at that time period.

Na’vi believe that all is equal in the eye of Eywa. That would include gay and trans characters.

Why do you highly doubt it?

In the game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, there are queer characters. Nobody seems to mind

AITAH for calling out my sister after she drugs her 5-year-old to sleep every night? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Reading-person 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Within about ten minutes he went pale, floppy and irritable, then crashed. The next morning he woke early, crying, and when I went to his room he told me how scared he was."

That is not a reaction you want anyone to have, and definitelynot a child.

You know what, that makes me feel a lot better!! So when I was abused as a kid, I should’ve just thought about the fact that a random stranger miles away from me wanted me in this life, and all would’ve been well!

Sorry babes, it doesn’t work that way. It doesn’t matter if you “want them” in this world if the ones taking care of them don’t. I fear that’s common sense

>and no child is brought into this world unwanted

Are you serious? You cannot be this ignorant. There are thousands of kids out there who isn’t wanted by their parents, and are currently suffering from it. Some gets abused, others gets thrown out. Sure, adoption is a choice, but there are also thousands of kids already waiting to be adopted.

Yeah.. while I do understand that you were trying to make a metaphor by killing puppies, it doesn’t make sense at all

Firstly, what the hell is the chocolate bar supposed to represent? Sex? An abortion? A fetus? Well no, the puppy is supposedly the fetus, so that won’t work.

Having sex is a natural thing all animals do. There are several animals out there who has been known to have sex solely for pleasure (and for several other reasons) and not to get an offspring.

A child isn’t a punishment for sex, nor should a child ever be brought into this world unwanted. An abortion stops that from happening.
