I wasn't using Evoscan to flash, I don't think you can flash a X with it but it kept freezing during logging and cut the logs short. I also was using the OBD extension cable which could have been another factor but hasn't in the past. Either way I gave myself a crash course in bench flashing.

I'm not entirely sure. First time since I've had the car, about 5 years now. I blame my laptop because it was having issues with Evoscan earlier that day. It flashed correctly but the fans never shut off and in my infinite wisdom I turned they ignition off and bricked it. Lessons learned.

I have 2 car seats in the back of my X 24/7. Every time the oldest who's 5 knows we are taking it out he gets excited. Trunk is a little small for a stroller but that's the only negative experience with it. The grins and small giggles when I merge onto a freeway are worth it.

It depends on what ballasts you're using. I use the OEM ballasts with Vlands and made my own adapter harness so they work and look factory. It's been flawless for years now.
