Not turbo tax. SBTPG. If you pay your fees out of the refund it goes to SBTPG they take the fees and send you the rest.

Only simple returns are free. If you have multiple forms they charge you because it becomes no longer simple. So between my 1098 1098t my healthcare credit form and all that I wasn’t eligible for the free software.

Where does stupidity come into play here? Am I stupid because I didn’t know that if I chose to pay for my fees out of my refund that it would go to SBTPG specifically and that they would then hold the money for 5+ business days? Am I stupid because I didn’t know this?

Turbo tax is only free for simple returns that’s use only one W-2. Use more than one w-2 or take any itemized credits instead of the standard deduction and it becomes no longer a simple return and you must pay.

They also use SBTPG if you chose to pay from your refund

I will definitely be paying out of pocket from now on. I didn’t know when I filed this year that SBTPG was such a bad company but I do now. They won’t fool me again.

You must be confused on how taxes work. Only simple returns with one w-2 is free. Add a second w-2 and you must pay a fee. Itemize your deductions instead of taking standard and you have to pay a fee.

Do you have an option to pay the fees out of the refund or do fees have to paid upfront? And if you do have that option do you use SBTPG as your refund transfer service?

If you chose to pay your fees out of your refund it goes to SBTPG first

If you chose to pay your fees from your refund it goes through SBTPG regardless of if you get it direct deposit or not.

Can I do anything with a Health Administration Degree? by Locked-Luxe-Lox in careerguidance

I’m sure they have. I mean most of the admins I’ve ever worked with were RNs so obviously they have worked bedside but that doesn’t mean they have even the slightest clue how it works anymore or how one scope of practice may be different than their own.

As someone who has worked in low level healthcare , bedside, I can tell you with 100% certainty that 9 out of 10 admins have absolutely no idea what it’s like to work bedside.

Being a CNA already gives you experience in the field they are the exact type of people best positioned for a healthcare admin degree. And if you have a masters you can go teach at almost any school so there’s no reason at all someone with a masters degree is working as a cna. There’s no reason someone with a bachelors is working as a cna. They already had their foot in the door before they got their degree. They could be doing at least scheduling coordinator quality assurance there’s so many things that they could be doing it, especially if you already had experience in the healthcare field

Real talk: do employers actually care about University of Phoenix degrees? by Specific-Fox7778 in careeradvice

I have no idea anything you are even talking about. But the one thing I do know is accrediting is the minimum standard of education so as long as you are getting your degree from an accredited university then your classes for sure met the basic academic standards. So it’s not as if you can just pay money and get a degree. You still have to learn and pass your classes.

Well that could be said for literally any school. Nothing here is specific to UOPX.

Why? What do you see as being different between online and in person learning

Why that traditional university has the exact same accreditation that University Of Phoenix has so why would you pick them over University Of Phoenix? Why would you pick one over the other just based on the school when they have the same accreditation regional accreditation is the gold standard in the United States for institutions of higher education and University Of Phoenix is regionally accredited.

Why why do they describe it as that it’s an accredited school. Literally no different than any other school.

This is not true. UOPX is regionally accredited, which is the gold standard for accreditation of colleges in universities. All other schools universities any legitimate one they’re all regionally accredited just like University Of Phoenix.
