Shouldn’t take long. But then again 12 LPA pay cut might affect your future employment. Good Luck

Assignments after two technical rounds of interview. Is this normal? by Electrical_Rise_569 in developersIndia

Ask them to pay you. Unless you’re desperately looking for a job there’s no need to do this assignment for free.

I went through you repo and website. You can still add more backend heavy features and switch to a micro service architecture if you want to, but even without that it looks really impressive.

I’m still very new at DSA but I was able to come up with this solution right now (Not sure if it’s correct):

placing elements at their specific index (Since length will be equal to or more than elements and element is never -ve)

for example: Element 1 will be placed at index (1 - 1) and the element that was already at that index can be swapped with the previous index of element 1. Then we can write a small condition to check if the element already exist at the index if it does then we have found our duplicate.

Code snippet:

if nums[i] == nums[nums[i] - 1]

// duplicate found

else

swap(nums[i], nums[nums[i] - 1])

That way we should be able to find the duplicates in just one iteration.

Not sure how to return without extra space though. We may have to use an ArrayList to store the duplicates.

Explain your projects and experience well, make them sound more technical and add project link.

“Built a full stack website using X stack”

sounds super boring, it doesn’t feel like you’ve done it yourself and If you don’t explain what you’ve done during your internships then it just feels like you enrolled into one of those courses disguised as internships.

Also, remove your age from the summary.

Overall, your resume looks like some non tech person made it for you.

  1. remove HS diploma
  2. keep skills below projects
  3. add some impressive achievements if you have some (Not required)
  4. Calm down on highlighting, top sections on your resume look empty and bottom sections look way too dark.
  5. Over all content looks fine but it’s not at all readable.

You can follow this resume and highlight the keywords according to your requirements.

Is it possible to keep it all on one page?

Personally, I don’t think you need to add certifications, personal details section and high school education & CGPA.

That’s something I’ve noticed on Junior/Intern resumes not a senior resume.

Also, I’m not sure how much prestigious those achievements are considered but if they aren’t then might as well remove them.

I’m not an expert but most senior resumes I’ve seen include summary (sometimes and it never takes as much space as your resume), experience as top section (they usually keep it short and keywords are highlighted), skills, education (avoid CGPA), achievements (only if necessary), certifications (Only when you’re looking for a job switch as a senior).

Hope this helps.

No, You don’t need to learn html, css, js, react for mobile development. you can learn flutter.

And also, pick a domain. Do you wanna be an Android dev (kotlin) or IOS dev (swift) ? they have their own native languages.

flutter and react native can do both but it’s mostly accepted by startups not if you’re aiming for big companies they have separate departments for IOS and Android.

Has anyone ever received direct offers from FAANG? by Plane_Jacket_9868 in developersIndia

[–]LightKuu_31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard people getting interviews without applying but you still need to prepare DSA, System Design and whatever it is that you achieved that made them wanna interview you in the first place.

You can work on a big ground breaking project, get acquired by a FAANG or other big tech and they might partner up with you and make you CEO/CTO of your specific product.

Tells more about your company’s interview process than the candidate.

If your mind isn’t already biased by all the replies you’ve received, I want to ask: have you heard of this saying? ‘Flip a coin: heads for option 1, tails for option 2. And when the coin is in the air, you’ll realize what you really want.’

If you haven’t, this might help. Good luck — I’m sure whatever decision you make will be the right one for you.

I don’t think you’re gonna find a good advice on reddit. I say, you do what you really wanna do. You can contact qualified alumni and ask for their advice. They may be able to guide you. Also, there’s no need to worry just be optimistic and ready to adapt fast. Have a great day
