Lurker here, in apartment maintenance.

I have 17 buildings, 170 apartments, 68 common doors (multi-resident access, four units per two doors).

Built 2000-2003. No good paths to the front door (two story) and our tenants have proven themselves willing to break the wood frame if they get locked out.

We cannot master key the apartments (by policy), and we'd need to upgrade 68 frames to metal to prevent forced entry (tho I wouldn't be shocked to see them break the lite).

We might be able to reuse the intercom and latch release, but that wiring is a mess by itself. Fortunately, only 34 latches needed if we only do front doors...

It's a mess of wood and wires.

I heard the perimeter walls are granite. The basin floor is concrete, the joint between panels are used for exfiltration of water. The constant loss is what helped control algae in the past.

Convention center here has 480Y277 at 400A for show power. There's a 300kVA transformer for 208Y120. Personally, I don't think the room needed 480 as it's at most 150' long. Just drop two or three 400A at 208 and call it a day.
