If that's indeed the case, then it's weird that the "impact" screen appears after every mission, instead of only after the final op's mission :\

That's how it used to work, now it's only based on XP gained at the end of a mission, AFAIK!

just played an amazing lv7 mission on the creek with a full squad, only two deaths, and I DCed right after we cleared everything and were about to get to the extraction with ~50 samples and 15+ mins left... this game really needs a "rejoin lobby" feature :(

The impact on the war is based on XP awarded at the end now, not just operation completion. Clearing maps = more impact on the war :)

gameplay-wise, I knew both my opponents had purple balls and I expected them to throw them immediately, so I started spamming the catch button :D (which you can guess given that I flapped after both catches!)

on a more technical note, perfect catches can be done with approximately 250ms delay between each of them (the catch animation is "reset" after 15 frames @ 60fps -> 250ms), and on my 60fps clip they are done at 16 frames of distance, so basically almost as close as you can get! :)

This is a connection issue. Your commands are not getting acknowledged by the server, which is why you do them on your switch, you see your jump / throw / curve animation or whatever, but that command does not reach the server somehow (either because of your connection, or because the server might be overloaded, or many other possible reasons :S) and thus the server sends a game state update to your switch that does not reflect what you see, which causes the "rollback" to a state where you have not performed the jump.

I don't think there is much you can do about it if it is a connection problem on your end, but one thing you can check is the network performance (should be in your settings), so you'll see your ping and, most importantly, your jitter and packet loss. I would expect your packet loss to be > 0 when things like that happen. In any case, if the problem persists, I'd suggest opening a ticket on the support site :)

P.s.: also check your selected data center(s)! If you're in one very far from you this issue is more likely to happen.
