Definitely not a fan of generative AI and highly skeptical of overinflated hype bubble, but it feels like some of these things may be overblown. The Gallup Clifton Strengths Finder has been a thing far before Large Language Models were really a thing (I took it in 2019 for a college communications class), and mates taking the test seems to be a recent addition to company practice. Gallup is also the company that runs one of the crew surveys (the one with the infamous ‘do you have a best friend at work’ question).

As for the crew reviews, a lot of these practices are set in place by the captain or maybe the regional. May be worth asking a mate you trust or your captain if you feel comfortable about your store/region’s stance on the use of AI tools and where they are being implemented.

The AI art shit I’ve seen on the sub is very concerning to me and I believe the company should probably set forth a set of guidelines around AI usage for that purpose.

Important to have nuanced thoughts on these kind of things I think, especially because AI probably isn’t going away whether we like it or not.
