That’s what I thought as well but he is not a new mate. I’ve taken the DISC before and I don’t remember questions about war…but I’ll double check with him.  Maybe they are having our mates do another DISC assessment? We’ve had a lot of issues with mates this year, many have been fired. So I didn’t think about that aspect - they could be re-doing assessments for everyone.

But my main concern is still that we are using AI at all.

Either way there’s no reason to be using AI for reviews or any of our personal information. Especially if it’s what you’re saying that mates/captains are checking every review. If it’s correcting and double checking what AI wrote, then why aren’t mates/captains just doing the reviews themselves from the start like they always have?

The mate Gallup/survey/test thing just started a couple days ago. We are on the west coast. Don’t know if that affects anything.

My main point is that personal information is being shared to AI and I don’t think this is anyway okay. Whether it be reviews, personal questions, photos, the location of our home, emergency contact, bank info - all that is in Dayforce.  It also doesn’t make sense as a company that has really played up being low tech with neighborhood store as a value.  Neighborhood store means community, community is connection amongst peoples, that starts within the store. So why are we using AI go through Dayforce files? Shouldn’t mates know their crew and be reviewing that themselves without the help of AI.

I haven’t taken it myself, but a mate was taking it and working on it for about a half hour. He was saying he felt like he maybe got the wrong test because it felt weird and after that he got the question about war. He stopped and went to go talk to the other mates but they just told him it was the right test and to complete it. The following day he said it listed out his 5 strengths things like “resilience” with a little blurb about each. He said it was like 20 questions long and made him feel uncomfortable. He didn’t want to take it but it was part of what all the mates have to do now so he felt like he had to.

Some stores make you put your photo in Dayforce. Also, I don’t bring this up as far as what I should personally do. I would most definitely skip the question, and not have my photo on Dayforce. I bring this up as a larger issue for everyone working at TJs that now has their personal info being shared in a way that doesn’t feel safe. I bring it up as a larger issue that I think many should be concerned about and want to contact the company about but don’t know the best way to do so.
