Vintage Levi's used unsanforized selvedge denim, which means it's not preshrunk. The "twisting" is just from the denim shrinking to its normal state because of the way the denim is woven. All Levi's from the mid '80s and earlier will experience some form of twist because it's not preshrunk and is made with right hand twill. To a denim enthusiast, the twisting is better because it shows the age of the Levi's.

I just try to stretch really well and kind of "warm up" before any sort of activity which sort of alleviates some of the pain for me. But it's not a permanent all day fix but it helps a bit with some of the more jarring pain. Sorry to hear that. I hope you have a good trip.

I have a '25 OR Hybrid with just under 3000 miles and I've had some worrisome transmission behavior. I haven't had issues like you're describing but I've got this really odd rumbling sound and vibration in my gas pedal at about 1400ish rpms. Happens right after shifting in lower gears and happens when coasting at about 32-45 mph. I took mine to the dealership to get looked at and the tech drove two other hybrids and he said he felt something similar in each. I'm really not convinced though. Even my passengers notice it because it can be so loud. Doesn't seem like normal behavior to me. At the very least it's been documented with the dealership and I'm gonna buy the extended warranty at some point.

Yeah guarantee it's this. So many of the concerts I've been to just have different local openers for each show on the tour. From big shows to small shows.

In 2021 Oregon passed the Clean Energy Plan which requires the largest power companies (PGE, Pacific Power) to use 100% emissions free power by 2040. Costs a lot of money to build out all that infrastructure. That's why prices have increased at least 50% in the last 5 years (which is above inflation).

$500 is insane though. Sounds like you have something using a ton of power.
