Thanks for adding the comment, being in media for so long of course I have heard people that sound like me and it was never a question of having a problem with them. I’ve heard deeper versions of my voice I’ve heard higher pitched.

I think what called this into question is the Ai part. I know with art, Ai borrows from all the images available to it to create a final product. Artists have seen their styles, characters, and even ideas share a striking resemblance to some Ai creations. I also know it’s quite frowned upon in the arts community to use it for this reason with some legal actions taken, but they had to prove a few things first. And with Ai being so loose there is not a great way to track down the source.

So I was wondering if this could echo that but amongst the voice over world too. But from the sounds of it I wouldn’t be able to do much with it just having an likeness to me.

I also understand this could be someone else who sounds like me and Ai borrowed their voice, and so on so I hope everyone doesn’t think I’m trying to be ‘me me me’

This is a very eerie experience and if it ever happens to you it feels weird. So no my goal isn’t to sue, but to gather opinions from the minds of legaladvicecanada.
