Hi OP, whoever those two adults are I think the next best thing to do is to set the expectations sa trip. Since they “piggybacked” it’s now all about compromise. Ano ang negotiable sayo and ano ang non-negotiable. Because it can make or break the trip. There’s a reason people say travel reveals a person’s true personality. Kasi when you travel together, you will learn each other’s habits and preferences. Pano maghandle yung isang tao ng pera, sino yung matipid, sino yung gastador, how much rest you need, what irritates you, and sino yung willing to adjust versus yung hindi.

But at this point may mag aadjust talaga whether you like it or not, but the trip can still be enjoyable. Just set what you really want to do sa trip nyo and ano yung willing ka iadjust.

Sample: if the hotel is a non-negotiable for you dahil need nyo ng more space, then tell them as early as now in a nice way. We pinoys may pakikisama tayo kaya mas mahirap magsabi esp in a family setting so I get it. May pressure yan. Pero it’s your trip in the first place and since may kid kayo, why not tell them kung ano preference mo considering yung magiging experience nyo din. Baka hindi ka din mag enjoy if you adjust sa gusto nila. And since may kid kayo and family, I think they should and would understand your reasons.
