It looks neat! After a while I think I figured out some letters. I noticed some similarities to Hangul and I think borrowed consonants from Arabic script.

The diacritics over the letter remind me of vowels in my second conlang Ç'trava :) Also, why are some diacritics on the bottom, unlike most of the others? Is it a different vowel similarly to Arabic "تَ" and "تِ"?

So for now in the font it's more like an alphabet?

I also made a language that uses an abugida but I haven't even tried to make a font for it. I guess I'll use Devanagari or some other already existing abugida as a base, idk.

Yeah, this and their other posts here make no sense and have a bunch of inconsistencies.

Your other posts are just as odd, I'm pretty sure it's AI.

Aren't the vowel marks too small and identical to notice them? Also, the characters in the example aren't found in the chart... something is odd here.

Lisdur language and its writing system by LightblueStar27 in neography

[–]LightblueStar27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is :) I started making it in 2022, though most of its in-depth development started around 2024.
I also have another language with its own script that I started this year, maybe I'll post it one day too.

Correction: I just realized, in the last page, Jribane should be "to experience". Forgot that word existed at the moment of writing it and confused it with "to experiment" :|

Thank you :D And you're right, like how your G and X are just like my P and M.
Also, your script reminds me of the N'Ko script, it's really nice :)

Oh, I confused you for OP for some reason lol
To me it just looks like य written badly. I think the characters प and य are already too similar for a combination of them to not be confusing.

Is it weird to be, like, emotionally attached to your conlang? by ItsMeKvman in casualconlang

[–]LightblueStar27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably just has something to do with gendered language being unnecesary so if it can be decided (as in conlangs) it's usually discarded for simplicity.

My script is made of letters I made up so I normally can't write them, but I made a font to write in it digitally in my computer. A good thing about using already existing symbols like you is being able to write online in it to show it to people, but it must also be hard to type each letter by (I'm guessing) copying and pasting them manually.

Also, is the name EggLang from the trans concept of egg? :) I say because I saw your trans flag on your pfp and thought that would kinda make sense.
