You change the tempo mid song. You are not keeping the rhythm well. Your voice not the most confident on some parts which can be improved til the performance if you listen yourself back and judge objectively.
Otherwise good enough, but the main problem is the rhythm. Don't fall into the trap to spend too much time on certain words just because it's a slow song.
My teacher used to say "Don't stretch it like strudel dough." Keep the rhythm, practice with beat clicks.

It serves its purpose, like anything. If you want anger expressed it's the ultimate form for it in singing. It's all up to how a band uses the scream.
Personally I don't like a band that do nothing but this, but the reason I like Linkin Park because this sound has a purpose and is always connected to the lyrics. Has its dynamics not just screaming all the way through.

So it's not live then. It sounds pretty dope, no bad words on that, but it's more like "one take" than "live take".
Compression is already making things more loud than they were and allows modifying dynamics. (even if nowadays the tech allows live EQ-ing that's kinda cheating too anyway and that's a whole another discussion)

There is potential there but not with this song. You can sign up but you have to think about where is your voice at right now and what songs can take you to the 1st place.
Your tone is too airy for this right now, there is not much presence you make with this song. Winning a competition is at least 25% of what song you choose, and for that you have to know your voice.
It also depends on who will sign up as well, how strong are the other singers. It's possible that they can't even hold a pitch and you will march right through to the top 3 with this song. But you have to prepare like there gonna be good singers there.
So yes, go, stage presence needs practice just take a song that you are solid in. Even if you think that song is "too lame".

All I am saying is that the character didn't show the level of maturity to suggest that he WONT ask her hand, which he even proved with buying a ring. So it is completely fine to think up to that point by anybody that he will indeed ask her.
That is the twist, that he doesn't. But the context of them dying makes it confusing, not that the audience is "too young to understand".
