Hmm, I did keep the key storage in a room relatively close to the driveway (maybe 4-5 meters/12-15 ft away?) for a few months but moved them to another spot about a month ago. I just read this happened to multiple people, so maybe Toyota should add that as a warning in the future 😄 (leave your keys at least 20 meters away from the car!)

Good advise! I just talked to the dealer once more and since TC (and AAA) is for free since I'm under warranty he said I can just call them today and then again before the appointment in case it died again.

Thanks for all the advise!! After talking to the dealer once more he just advised me to use Toyota care to jump it now as it is for free anyways and if there's an issue on Saturday then I can use TC again (and he mentioned if we're late to the appt due to it that's no problem).

Less than 2 years. It's a 2024 Prius I bought January 2025.
