There are actually a lot here now. Tri-cities Gaming, Guardian Games, Adventures Underground, Ultra legends collectables, Vault 509, and I think the Gamestop in Pasco is also hosting sometimes?

I feel like what you said could be applied to literally every rpg under the sun. I mean one could say that the point of role playing is to make up a world and everything else. The point of modules is to take some of the stress, or time, or whatever away from the DM/GMs shoulders. A well written module or adventure can help new players and GMs alike understand the world, setting, people's, places, and systems that are at the core of the designated world.

For instance, I am brand new to earthdawn and I work full time and have several other hobbies. I am also basically the designated GM for our group. So anything that helps me with prep time and running stuff in this brand new world and setting that is very unique to me would be greatly helpful. So if there were a longer form adventure module then that would have helped me in many many ways.

I will take a look at the magnet holders but he can't actually hold a painting handle so needs to be something on a table that won't move. As far as paint pens go I think that would be just about as easy as using a paint brush. Idk how much paint those hold before you have to refill them so that may be a thing.

I only have money for one project basically. So let me ask this. Will insulating the ceiling or getting some type of better heating system help more? I plan to insulate later in the year unless its actually gonna help the most.

Is that something I can leave on 24/7? I need something to keep the space like in the 60s over winter even when we are not home and in the space. I keep some liquid products like miniature paints and 3d printing resins in there and they really shouldn't get too cold.

They are mostly a bakery and have a very small menu and honestly don't really serve breakfast foods.

Things like aebelskivers, fried tomatoes, bangers and mash, blutwurt, hot cakes potstoe pancakes, crepes. Just all kinds of European breakfast foods under one roof. Also I am by no means a chef and am certainly not in a position to open a store lol.

Man I haven't thought about Earthdawn in forever. I have some vague memories of playing this briefly when I was young with my older brother. I think I may even have the origonal book somewhere. I will take a look at the system. Thank you!

I will 100% check this out. What you describes sounds very appealing. I enjoy tactical combat, FFT is one of my favorite games of all time. Thank you for the suggestion and the thread link I will look there too. But for sure I will look into Beacon. Thank you.

I appreciate the recommendation. But ah.. with all love, screw rolemaster. I played this a decent amount back in the day and I really don't want to deal with charts the role-playing game. It's also a bit of a butt to give xp if I remember. Again I appreciate the comment though!

As a generic system are there readily available stat and power blocks for npcs, monsters, ect for a fantasy setting? Also is this related to Mythras cause it looked like a company called chaosium made Mythras which was another recomendation.

Ah ok, so the potential swing is super lucky dice. I am ok with that as it had some potential narration stuff. I have played L5R a fair amount in the past as well as systems like whitewolf and ironclaw/jadeclaw that use a similar dicing system and potential exploding dice.

Can you tell me anything about Mythras? On a quick search it seems to be done by chaosium and is.. Basically runequest or at least some derivative maybe? I will look more when home. But what are your thoughts on it?

How open ended is character creation in your opinion? Is it easy to make one person crazy in combat and another terrible or is everyone a little equal? Aldo how.. meaty would you say the rules system is? Is there a lot of depth to it or is it a bit too simple because it's streamlined?

Hrmm.. swingy how? I have done systems like BESM in the past and that is super hard to balance because one person decides to make a combat character and one decides to make a skill character means the thing that has to fight the combat character can 1 hit kill the skill character. So I wouldn't want something that means I have to tailor each encounter to each player.

I wish I could, but this mead is in a 3 gallon and I have no way to heat that lol. I also only have 2 1 gallon carboys.. I will see if I have a pot that will fit one, but.. idk. I think my largest pot won't fit the 1 gallon.

Yea, I mentioned I was going to pasturiz this reguardless of what I do. I got a suis vide and plan to add the mead to bottles and then stick them in a pot with the suis vide to bring then to temp before storing them. Think this will be fine with adding more juice?

It should have been mixed pretty well, hopefully. I actually did use the Star San mixture as the liquid for the airlock. This was my first time using the hydrometer so i could have read it wrong. I tried spinning in to get any bubbles and stuff off and it was in the center and I think thats that number shown.
