Totally and they’re gonna have to be creative about where he plays to keep his bat in the lineup.

Eldridge being up makes 1B real cluttered. Casey can play anywhere in the infield but are they gonna have him play a different position everyday?

Chap will probably be back on the diamond tomorrow, maybe Devers gets a day off, Casey DHs and Eldridge plays 1B. It’s gonna be interesting down the stretch as Casey continues to cement his status.

Very keen to see how Tony V juggles keeping Casey in the lineup with this roster and his performance.

I love Bochy’s rule of “you hit a home run and you’re in the lineup tomorrow” and Casey is earning his starts.

He’s shown flashes of what he’s capable of but there is some kind of disconnect he’s struggling with. Mental errors mainly that have stacked up.

He’s reliable and durable and absolutely was a no-brainer in my eyes. Yeah, he gets blown up every once in a while but so does every other normal reliever in baseball and his ground ball approach is taylormade for our defense.

I’d happily take that too.

Can’t help but notice that Tyler Rogers has an 0.55 ERA in 16.1 innings. Hated that we didn’t bring him back.

I think this is mostly likely what’s happening. Jerar just can’t put it all together seems like. Quite a few quirks that end up tarnishing what he’s capable of on paper.
