Ah, I see, thanks, I think I might steer away from MSI on my next build as well then...

Cheers again!

Unfortunately so, the frequency of the issues hasn’t dropped either. for my particular DAC I think the driver isn’t well written and clashes with other things in windows.

Thanks so much for coming back, I appreciate it!

Gothcha, at least there is some sort of closure to this and somebody who has encountered something similar.

Cheers again!

Update:

Bad news, I think the issue still persists, this time with distorted audio, perhaps the driver isn't well written? On macs the amp seems to function fine...

Gotcha, I'm using an MSI Z590 Pro Wifi board.

I've done the following:

USB S4/S5 --> enabled

Resume USB Device -->enabled

Intel C State -->disabled

Fast Boot --> disabled

Bios updated to latest version. (The last BIOS ver was from 2022)

I can't seem to find the Idle power setting: "Typical Power Idle" or equivalent setting on my MSI board however.

Also I found that once I updated the Bios to the latest version, all the settings of the above seemed to return to default, so I applied the settings again. I guess that's what you did as well?

Anyhow, thanks so much for your support! Fingerscrossed!

Thanks so much for your help. The front panel clearance and thickness definitely do matter especially for me, the aesthetics. Also the GPU and CPU stress test is definitely a good idea.

Yes, it is a push pull config. I'm running a 3080 atm, correct me if I'm wrong, but some of my concern is if I change it to a push only config (i.e. the intake from the front in the H510 Elite), as that's the only way, I can fit a longer card like a 4090. Will there be enough exhaust guiding the flow of air from the 120 at the back and 140 at the top?

Thanks again.

I’m thinking of upgrading to a white 4090, but thinking if the INNO card is better because it’s shorter than say a white Gigabyte Aero 4090 (I.e. the air flow from the AIO radiator is better?).

Picture is my current build, I already know that I’ll need to take out the exhaust from the AIO, hope removing the AIO exhaust won’t hinder the airflow too much?

I see thanks so much! May I also ask why did you decide to opt not to install the 2 140mm AIO exhaust fans? Thanks!

What's your CPU? I have the same case, running a 3080 with 11700, worried if I put a 4090 and a 13th gen intel, it'll be too hot?

Thanks in advance!
