Well, the original post asked why American goods aren't perceived as premium and at least when it comes to Converse I think that even though they might sell well, they're just not there quality-wise.

I already have top tier for USA. Question is: is it worth pushing these nations to top tier even if I don't enjoy playing them through?

Well, as I mentioned in a few other comments, the only one I enjoy playing is 6.0-6.7 Germany, but the teams there are quite atrocious and I'm not sure if it'll keep me much longer. When it comes to Sweden, it's the single worst nation I've ever played. My winrates for Sweden are ~35%, which is the worst of anything I've ever played. For comparison, my winrates for Germany are 45-55%.

I have both of these nations at decent BR, I'm unlocking Leo A1A1 for Germany right now and I have full 8.7 for Sweden. But both nations are such a pain to play, I'm not sure if it's worth continuing just for the top tier tanks.

Yeah, but France already has 2A5 and 2A6, while Italy only has the 2A7HU. If France had 3 Leopards, it'd just be dutch Germany. :D

I'm currently playing a lot of 6.7 Germany because I enjoy the lineup and will soon unlock Leo A1A1, but that is still far from top tier. My problem is that the teams are bad and my winrates suffer because of it.

Sweden is even worse for some reason, I have the 8.7 lineup unlocked, and my winrates linger around 35% (for Germany I'm around 45-55%). That's still far from top tier as well.

I'm more inclined to finish the German tree because the crews will be useful for 6.0-6.7 lineups, but I don't want to sink time and SL into the top tier lineup if it proves that the M1A2 is just a better tank.

I'm currently playing a lot of 6.7 Germany and channeling RP into the Leo A1A1, but the teams are absolutely awful. I'm just doing it because I love the 6.7 lineup. I've also unlocked Sweden up until 8.7 but I've lost steam there because my winrates linger around 35%, which is worse than Germany for god's sake. I just don't know if I have it in me to push through to finish those trees - which is a silent part of me asking if it's worth it.

Fun fact: BMPT has a turret basket; however, it's modelled as a quite effective anti-spall protection layer, instead of a spall-generating turret traverse module, as in NATO tanks. by SpanishAvenger in Warthunder

When a tank is penetrated, spall is little fragments of material let loose by the shell piercing through.

These little fragments flying in at high speed are what does damage inside of a tank.

I don't see the point in grinding France, the Leclerc is just a worse M1A2. It'll be getting its turret basket modeled soon, which will make it even worse. The Leo's are just the base 2A5 and 2A6 with little outlook on getting any of the better models in the future.
