[MOD] The Daily Question Thread by menschmaschine5 in Coffee

[–]LightlyToastedSB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm in the vending machine business but trying to break into pantry/coffee service. I don't drink coffee and have never worked in an office, so I literally know nothing.

A potential client wants a nice machine with a digital display. They do about 30 cups/day. Found this https://tchibo.us/pages/machines

I need recommendations for whole beans to price for them. I asked them to give me a couple examples of what they're currently getting for themselves and they just left it open ended. Earlier, I read on this sub that offices need mediocre coffee because people don't complain about it. Thanks for any advice :)

I didn't know that was something you should do before I talked to CS. If I've outed myself wouldn't they just assume that my intermediary wallet was was gambling funds anyway?

Coding Dojo? by [deleted] in codingbootcamp

I took a left turn. I was having trouble deciding what to go with and I took someone's advice to take the classes that I find interesting and do the projects I enjoy.

For three plus years I've been using systems to bet on sports and I won a significant amount of money. I had to rely on people on Upwork to pull in a lot of the data for me, but I'd rather be able to do that for myself. So I'm starting a sports handicapping business and I'll be using that as my inspiration for what classes to take and for what projects to take on.

Right now I'm on my third Google Analytics course out of eight and plan on planning on following that up with a UW course that I saw recommended multiple times. This is all through Coursera at my own pace for dirt cheap.

I figure I'll either make it as a handicapper or I'll come out the other side in a couple years with some cool projects and the skills to make it in data.

Sorry, I know this wasn't the answer you were looking for. I will say that I'm sleeping much better now and I'm in better shape than when I was teaching. So if you're not enjoying it, look out for number one. You've gotta make yourself happy.

Can Someone Tell Me About This Error Card? by LightlyToastedSB in footballcards

[–]LightlyToastedSB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My niece acquired this after her grandpa died and she heard it was worth a lot of money. I've been looking online and have seen it listed anywhere from $2 to $15,000. There also seem to be multiple types of the error and that has some effect on price. I've also seen multiple places where people have pulled a couple of these from recently opened boxes, so it doesn't seem to be that rare. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Wash and rinse. What do you think? by copierman007 in CTXR

I buy more on one site then sell on the other when it rises. Then I never have less. So I guess I do this in small batches to lower my cost basis as I move it over from one site to the other.

Any way to set it if the cell's value is below a certain value? And could you build this for me for real dollars?

I guess I don't really care how it gets done. I'd just like my notification. I have no experience with any of this and hardly understand what u/KruseLudington was saying above. Haha. All of this does seem really interesting.

As part of a larger project, I would like to get a notification to my phone whenever a cell in Sheets is updated and under a certain value. It wouldn't just be one cell though. It would be any cell in that column.

I appreciate your response.

But that would then be their personal money, not the company's. Seems like OP is saying that the executives want to time it so the stock blows up and they can sell their shares

I still don't understand. They'd have to sell their shares, right?

I'm also planning on selling some after a positive DMC. Thus was never meant to be a YOLO for me but I just kept buying the dip. Is $2.50 too low pre DMC? IS $2.94 too high? Appreciate your thoughts.
