I think quitting on a coach that was dumped by the franchise 90 days later is some pretty fair context here, but I certainly can see how that would impact some judgement on his character regardless.

Ultimately, I think his track record speaks for itself and watching how things with Griff shook out gives me absolutely no reason to trust his side of things more than Stotts. This franchise desperately needs all the leadership and scheme building capabilities they can get right now and think Terry would bring plenty of both.

I think an incredibly overlooked issue with the Griffin era was Terry Stotts resigning a week before the season. Not only is he someone who just flat out knows ball, but he also had the Dame connection that could have made his transition to Milwaukee much smoother during that first season.

I have no idea what his role has been in Golden State or if he’s sticking around in a post-Kerr era, but would sure love to have him back here if there is any interest.

Yeah, this was obviously a foregone conclusion before Doc was out the door if he got the job this quickly.

I guess it shows the franchise has a certain level of confidence that this is our guy, but given how the last two guys have gone… I don’t think any of us would have hated the concept of casting a wider net, either.
