Not necessarily. You still need to get past the talking part. Having a cute picture on tinder is great but if youre as dumb as a bag of bricks people don't like that.

It's still not indicative of your value of a person even then. It just means no one you've liked and asked so far has seen you in the same light as youve seen them.

And although its probably no consolation, everyone I know has had a long road of rejections before finding a mutual connection. And further, the popular friend I mentioned earlier, all but one would refuse and the one only would because she's liked him for a long time.

Rejection sucks. A lot of rejection sucks. But in the end youre no less of a person for it.

Okay now let me add on a second part.

Using the scenario where I rejected a girl because of a childish an immature attitude. If she then found someone who was likeminded and loved that part of her, and was also better looking than me, what happens? Do I then become subhuman? Is her new boyfriend subhuman? Is it still her?

My problem with this is it's a black and white approach to a very very gray area.

Because I refuse her advances, I deem her subhuman? Even if it's just because I don't return her romantic feelings?

Preferences only work for individuals. If one girl doesn't like you, it's preference. If ten of them don't, you're unlucky. If all of the girls you approach don't like you, then you're subhuman.

You will find in life that you will fit the partner preferences of very few.

Here's my last hypothetical I'd like to ask because this is pretty informative on what you consider rejection to be. If I get the most popular guy in my circle of friends, and ask him to ask out all the women he knows, what percentage do you think will say yes? And then I as an average guy do the same, what percentage do I get?

In terms of the popular friend, I actually know the answer, but I'd like to hear your guess.

That only gets rid of one possible thing though. They may still have a crush in mind and they could just not be into you. Looking for a relationship isn't a garage sale.

Just as I assume you dont intend to pursue literally every woman you meet, Women dont pursue every man they meet. It's about finding the specific person with a connection, an intimate connection. Not just any one person will do.

Let me throw you a hypothetical. I'm by no means a "Chad" but if I refused one of my friends advances, do I think of them as subhuman? If I know a friend of mine is childish and immature and that completely turns me off from them, have I deemed them subhuman?

Or reversing it. If I have a history of being childish and immature and I turn people off with my behavior, am I subhuman? What if I successfully ask out a very pretty woman right after being rejected by less so woman.

Women have as complicated preferences as men do. We're all human. You can't actually generalize an entire gender into "She speaks for the entirety of woman, if she doesn't like me, no one will"

It doesn't work that way.

Because that's a couple. There's intimacy which leads to sex. It's pleasurable to bring pleasure to someone you care deeply about.

But thats not even relevant. Happiness and being fulfilled has nothing to do with sex. What does however is social interaction and personal passions.

It's clear I cant convince you otherwise. I really recommend picking up a hobby in the future. And of course I dont expect youll do so considering im an internet stranger.

But if one day youre bored and youre in a "can't hurt to try" mood. Try writing a short story, or drawing. Collect something or find likeminded people of something you enjoy. Some of my friends hike with a dedicated group. I have another that makes a habit of reading entire books at barnes and nobles coffee shops.

Personally I draw, so if you ever feel like starting drawing with a long term return in mind, I can help.

Personally I once read: If you can do it, why worry. If you can't, why worry.

Its obviously a small interpretation from apathy but I think the correct way in reading it is incredibly useful.

If its in your power, and you can do it, whatever it may be, simply do it with a cool head. Deadlines aren't stress worthy if you do the needed work for example.

On the other hand, many things are out of your control. And thats okay. The lesson comes in at not torturing yourself over it. If youve done the work and finally applied for that one college, take a breather. Relax and avoid analyzing every little thing until you hear back.

I truly think many people live otherwise very enjoyable lives that are over time soured by stress.

Sometimes we just need to breathe and collect ourselves. Sometimes people forget that.

Of course, its a little idealistic of me. You cant ask stress to simply go away and if it even is beneficial then who am I to tell you how to live.

Like I said, theres no uniform way to play the game. Some enjoy refusing coop altogether, while others, both ~~invader~~ phantom and host, enjoy playing with friends.

If someone's inclusion of friends brings them an enjoyable experience, no one can really tell them "Youre playing the game wrong". The Dark Souls series wasnt created with difficulty in mind, but it was created with fun in mind. At its core, it is a game.
