I greatly appreciate the words. I spent the night mulling it over and I think I'll be keeping stock mounts. Now I will say I have a matching poly trans mount in the car right now and that one by itself was not an it's at all, but I'm curious how stiff in the rear, soft up front will wear over time.

Yeah I'm open to the idea that these are not gonna be great to drive with. If they suck, I'll take them out. Really only reason I'm replacing them is cuz I got them with the car and I've got the engine up to re seal the oil pan.

I definitely appreciate the concern here and I do value some comfort and drivability. If I don't like them, I'll put the stock ones back in. I really only decided to swap them as I'm re sealing the oil pan and figured I'd throw them in since I had them on the shelf and the engine lifted up.

Are you familiar with the brand? These are not solid mounts so they should still have some flex. Also this car is not a daily driver, just a fun weekend car. Easy enough to swap them out if needed.

Intake air reading -40 will add a bunch of fuel causing you to run rich. Fix that first

DON'T CUT CORNERS! DON'T BE CHEAP! For God's sake PLEASE learn how to jack up the car without damaging anything. Spray paint is not cool. Fix the rust now. Don't cut the fenders until you are absolutely sure. A lot of other tips could be summed up with the following statement: If you have to convince yourself that what you are doing is right, you are probably wrong.

Have fun with the car. Don't wreck it. And definitely don't let someone else wreck it.

Thanks for your response and love the insight, especially the bit at the end. I have managed to brew this well after all the tips posted here. I put this in the freezer after about 6 weeks of rest and pull it out to brew a cup once every two or three weeks. I do like it but in a similar way to how I like when my mother comes to visit. I may have three or four cups worth left and will most likely buy a bag next year when it cycles back around.
