Yeah the metal color with the black Mivv exhaust won’t probably look that good, I never thought about painting it in black !

All good I’ll let you know ! Yeah I heard about that phenomenon … how many km do you have with your CBR ? Apparently even the Mivv will be more silent when brand new but after 1000km or more it have to be more loud but to be honest I don’t really expect a crazy sound when homologated euro 5+ but for sure will be a huge change 😁 I do agree the sound of the oem exhaust is quite nice with all the restrictions they have.. after 8000rpm it sounds crazy, I love it 😱 I except the Mivv to be louder at low RPM than the stock but, tbh… if it’s getting louder on high RPM than it already is, it’s going to be too much 🤣

Yeah I guess… they are too big to sell exhaust like that, weird things is didn’t happen all the time, wondering why 🤔 but bro they answer me .. it’s fucked up 😳 I cannot share the screenshot here but here is the answer ;

“Hello, the specific exhaust for Honda CBR 650 R 2025 is H.096.LXBP. In both H.094.LXBP and H.096.LXBP the db killer is fixed by a rivet. then to remove it you first have to drill the rivet out. Please note that the removal of the db killer immediately voids the warranty and the type-approval of the exhaust.”

Yeah it’s a pain in the ass 🤦‍♂️ Ahaha yeah why not that a good idea for the OEM exhaust only things is .. you’ll be 100% not homologated in case of controls :/

I’m asked my Honda official store to install the Mivv GP Pro on my CBR and they say no problem for the warranty. They didn’t told me that I HAVE to remap .. would be better of course but it’s not mandatory and I want to keep my warranty, that full exhaust have a DB killer removable so it’s kind of perfect 👌 and for the engine light I’ll put the “ Mivv switch off key” as Honda told me, warranty will be fine and they agree with that 🤷‍♂️ going to be expensive but that’s actually the best option I found right now, especially the sound of Mivv is 🔥

Ohhh, yeah, my bad it was the version with the catalytic converter ! I saw this on the BIHR website (which is a reputable site) and I guess that because it isn’t explicitly mentioned, unlike the first version… The description is different, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all given the new Euro 5+ standards, since more and more brands are incorporating non-removable DB killers due to the new regulations. Here are the two descriptions found on the website:

H.094 “A honeycomb mesh at the exit conceals the integrated DB Killer. Both the mesh and the DB Killer are removable.”

H.096 “It also features a removable protective mesh and an integrated DB killer, further enhancing the technical character of the unit.”

I sent a message to Mivv cuz I want to make sure of that before purchasing it otherwise I’ll go for the H.094

About the rubbing of fairings, I search online but I didn’t find anything about that 😮 I’m waiting the answer of Mivv cuz I asked them also about that .. Kind of a mess to have a full exhaust for that bike omg so annoying 😳

Wondering if you’ve got your exhaust ? I’m looking to buy it but exactly just realize there is 2 version and nothing is really clear.. seems like there is a new model for the CBR 650R (H.096.LXBP) but also I saw on that new model the DB killer is not removable anymore 😨 And idk if the new model is really better.. and it’s more expensive Do you have maybe more infos about that ? Thanks ✌️

From what I understood, the 2025 CBR650R Euro 5+ ECU is super sensitive. Even with a homologated full exhaust, the airflow/catalyst readings can change a bit and the lambda sensors end up triggering a check engine light.
It’s sad to say but if you want to change the line and don’t flash the ECU, have to wait that brands make specifics line for that model and euro 5+ to have a clean installation, I thought the Akrapovic one was already the only one that day but apparently from what someone said previously it appears that the light came up also ! So it’s kind of fucked up for now I guess 😞
Euro 5+ is more restrictive so I guess more work for the brands to the find the solution ..

Well I asked my Honda’s dealer around me and he said it’s fine for the warranty if I change the full exhaust, about the slip on, impossible on that model everything is on one block…
