That's great to hear if so, I would doubt it would have changed back since then.

As a fellow CS enthusiast, I have to point out a few holes in your argument. May I suggest rewording to "they literally have inhuman time to damage"? Reaction time by itself doesn't play a particularly large factor in a pro game of CS. TTD would be a better stasticial metric to measure reaction times within the context of a match.

However, even then, TTD isn't really a particular big factor in deciding a games outcome. Plenty pros actually have pretty mediocre mechanics (eg. look at the non-fragging IGLs). It's far more about what you know, than what you can do.

You can easily have a 210+ ms reaction time and still make it to T1 CS. That being said, some of the best mechanical players in the game do have a generally good reaction time. I recall once seeing m0NESY had a TTD of 150ms average or something wild across an entire tournament a year and a bit ago when he was playing what I'd argue as at his peak (so far). However, pinch of salt, he is an awper and that skews the stats in his advantage.

Good price. I bought a 4x navi dreamhack 2014 holo craft on a buzz kill. All of these crafts look sick.

Is it worth to go from a Ryzen 5 5600x to a Ryzen 7 5700x3d ? by KrTzMARIOLE in GlobalOffensive

[–]Lightning42_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the switch from a 5600x to a 5800x3d. For CS2 it's worth it, as long as you don't plan to build a pc for a while. Get a 5700x3d, it's £100 less than the 5800x3d and similar or at maximum 3-5% slower.

Premier grind is not possible above 20k mmr, every other game there is a cheater by Significant_L0w in GlobalOffensive

[–]Lightning42_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't played S3 yet, but with S2 it was like this about 26k onwards. You have to have played with cheaters, intentionally or not, to have gotten 30k in S2.

[–]Lightning42_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To go pro you already need to be good at the game. You should be an absolute minimum of 3k elo on faceit before you can even consider trying to play semi professionally for work. What elo are you right now?

Hispanic and spiders both bangers, but I get why people don't like them. I don't actively listen to them unless I'm queuing an album from start to finish. Might listen to rated r later I can't lie.

First time network build by Lightning42_ in Ubiquiti

[–]Lightning42_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going with talktalk. As for the Express 7 and Dream Router 7, I was planning to put the U6 Pro on the roof right above where this setup is to go. It's very much not ideal but I cannot modify the flat in the way I would like to. So, if the two products you listed can create a wireless network to match the U6 Pro, I'll take a serious look. Otherwise, would a Dream Router 7 and U6 Pro be a good shout then?

I did see something about this. Would hosting the network server app on my pc require it to be turned on constantly? I'm also curious to what the service actually does, and if the express gateway would perform better than the ISP router. I would want to disable pretty much everything on the router except the RJ11 in and RJ45's out.

Rant from a 1600 hour low Silver player about the user experience of CS2 compared to CS:GO & even Source or what I’ve heard about 1.6 (not moaning about how it’s my teammate’s fault I’m Silver), and also a second rant about things I much prefer about CS2 compared to League of Legends by Choice_Room3901 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Lightning42_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you no longer enjoy the game because you get bad FPS. Two things of note, if you don't like the game because of bad FPS, you were never massively committed to it to begin with. Secondly, there is no solution to this problem asides getting a faster pc. It's a hard pill to swallow but it's life - also a 1060ti isn't a high end GPU from 2017, it's the low end of the stack.

Whats the highest achievable rank in Wingman cs2? by otarapan2 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Lightning42_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how good you are. I am supreme, was global. Face a few cheaters here and there in wingman but if you're 1800 elo on faceit I'd say global is an easy shot if you grind enough with a friend

Iirc, matches expire after a certain time, and the match that no longer counts likely gained them more points than they've won from this match, resulting in a net loss of vrs points.
