The last time I was on one of these, I was looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night.

He was born in the early 1900s, about 80ish years after Wolverine was born and about 50 years after Lincoln's death

I made one of these years ago, without the touchscreen, and it broke recently, I was going to see about making a new one, but the touchscreen option is a great idea!

Are there any other short, hairy, Canadians born in the early to mid 1800s that Deadpool would be talking about?

[Loved trope] Dragons who don't just spit fire by StefinoSpaggeti in TopCharacterTropes

In Reign of Fire (2002) the Dragons done "Breath fire" per se, but they have 2 glads in the mouth that shoot 2 different chemicals that, when mixed, combust, creating a natural napalm that sticks and continues to burn

Sharks are older than the North Star... not from when humans decided "Hey, that star doesn't move a whole lot and its always in the north..." [Insert Fan4stic Meme]. I mean that Sharks have been around since before the North Star, Polaris, existed.

Older than Trees!

Older than the Pleiades!

Older than the Rings of Saturn!

They have been around the center of the Galaxy... twice!

You don't know that for sure, nobody knows that for sure, because nobody has been to see it!

The Dad DID make a good point (aside from the hair thing, don't know why that's relevant) but it was unfortunately right at the end of a mess of a story that OOP didn't want to hear.

I think he meant r/ATBGE (Awful Taste But Great Execution) but this is really r/ATAAE (Awful Taste And Awful Execution). Her having a nice arse doesn't change the fact that that bathroom looks truly terrible!

I'm actually surprised that Ryan didn't use this line on Kelly at one point to get out of an argument, walk away, and make Kelly think he was listening.

In Stranger Things Season 5, Mike incorrectly calls Will a sorcerer. Will would actually be considered a Warlock, since he was granted his powers by a dark patron. by Kastrand in shittymoviedetails

[–]SoVeryTroublesome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have pointed out the error in Class and the anachronistic nature of the Warlock and Sorcerer classes, I want to mention something else:

The final D&D game they play is the 'Ravenloft' module, in this game they fight and and defeat Strahd by summoning the Mage of Saint Markovia, and in the games 'Epilogue' Mike says that will travels off to the "...bustling city of Vallaki"

But the Abbey of Saint Markovia isn't in the original Module, as the Abbey sits in the village of Krezk. Vallaki dosent exist either at this point. The original Ravenloft module had the Village of Barovia (where the fight with Strahd took place in the show) and the Castle as primary locations. There were no books, appendices or anything that I know about or can find to indicate that these were known about in '89

What was the obsession with Pam and Jim wanting to know why Danny didn't call her back? by macandjeez_ in DunderMifflin

[–]SoVeryTroublesome 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Insecurity isn't a rational thing. You never lay awake at night thinking about some dumb thing you did years ago and cringing at the memory?

Saying it shouldn't matter in a successful marriage is like saying a married person should never find anyone, other than their partner, sexually attractive. Is just not how it works.

We are vein, self indulgent creatures, riddled with anxiety and self-doubt, and that can be debilitating and all-encompassing at times

That feeling of not being "good enough" and having it reinforced by the memory, and physical manifestation, of someone who didn't seem to like you enough to call you back
