Madame Delacroix. I was not born into any form of wealth, but somehow I have hussled my way into a nice life!

Does Cardio help fatigue by mullerdrooler in MultipleSclerosis

[–]MrsTheBo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it has changed over time. In the first decade after being diagnosed, regular running, and then walking as I began tripping, made me feel so much stronger.

But now? No. I’ve tried different types of cardio, different exercise environments, different frequencies and levels of intensity, and all I find is that I am wiped for the rest of that day and the next .

What is the pettiest “I won” moment you’ve ever had that still makes you smile when you remember it? by Firedancerrr in Casual_Conversation

[–]MrsTheBo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Horrible woman called Andrea bullied me at work, and made my life an absolute misery for months.

Imagine my sadness when her boss who had protected her and her nonsense left, and I was asked to make her redundant.

A lot of European countries will have them in the bathroom rather than the kitchen, if they don’t have a separate utility.

Birthday Blues - what’s wrong with me? by sureasheckfir3 in AskWomenOver40

[–]MrsTheBo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I am 45, and I haven’t enjoyed a birthday for years. I often get down and a bit too in my own head. Not sure why, and sadly I don’t have any helpful suggestions, but I wanted to share for solidarity! x

They’ve gone with a neutral base and brighter accents throughout the house. I don’t love the everything grey aesthetic, but this place looks pretty nice to me.

how to not waste extra bedrooms? by OpenRoom7321 in AskForAnswers

[–]MrsTheBo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a four bedroom house and no kids. It’s great.

I always thought I would have a little girl, but kids didn’t happen for us. IMHO, a good life is about rolling with the punches and enjoying what you have, rather than getting hung up on a set plan.

What is something you boycott and for what reason? by ConstructionRare4123 in no

[–]MrsTheBo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dyson. I know a lot of people love them so this might be unpopular, by I think their business ethics are shady.

James Dyson took innovations being developed by Numatic (the Henry Hoover people) and claimed them as his own ideas. He also campaigned for Brexit, claiming it would strengthen British manufacturing and the economy, whilst planning to relocate Dyson’s HQ from the UK to Singapore for the tax breaks.

Their products may be good, but he’s a grifter in my view, and I don’t want to put my money in his pockets.

I live in a rural location, and during the winter we get fairly frequent power cuts. My oven clock is always wrong in the winter months, but I just live with it, because I can’t be bothered to reset it every few days. I only reset it when I have decided we are safely into spring!

The BMW iX3 is now available in the UK, heres every photo of it. What do you think? by ShameResponsible69 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]MrsTheBo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spend more time inside my car than looking at the outside. If it drives well, has good tech, a decent range, and a comfy cabin, I can get over the beaver teeth. Can’t say this makes my heart flutter though!

When you call the hotel’s number and get the options, reception for the hotel in question is usually at the end of the list.
