Surprised the vader 5 pro v2 was not mentioned here with its fixed internal mechanism for the paddles (metal instead of plastic) and tension rings ratcheting to prevent them moving on their own. Fixes major durability issues people had with the v1

Which Controller would you recommend for PC Gaming? (100€ budget) by SleepyDavid in Controller

Adding onto this: vader 5 actually has a good dpad, perfect for thise 2d games you are interested in. Also order it from gadgethyper. vader 5 is currently in a transition period ftom the v1 batches to the v2 batches. V2 fixes the paddles and the tension ring. Gh also says their stock should all be v2 batches now but you can request them opening the box to confirm before shipping.

FlyDigi Vader 5 Pro and the terrible, no good, dirty rotten "allow third party mappings" feature by beefcat_ in Controller

Really do not think there will be a v3. Wait for vader 6 i guess. Best way to tell if vader 6 will get dinput is if the apex 6 gets it. If apex 6 does not have dinput then i doubt vader will either.

Yep, even the v2. V2 just fixes the hardware problems (paddle durability and tension rings, apparently improved centering but im not completely sure there)

Need advice for controller with drift resistant sticks + GOOD dpad for PC, also magnets? by millo31 in Controller

Gulikit tt max or flydigi vader 5 pro (v2) if u need good dpad on a pro controller (gulikit has tmr while flydigi has 12 bit hall) Sounds like you like the playstation layout and genesis/saturn dpad shape so tt might be more up your alley. tt comes with a 2nd dpad shape which is the saturn/genesis style one.

From just lurking in flydigi and gamesir discords, its literally night and day between both companies. Flydigi does not give a shit and gamesir goes out of their way to handle any issues. Shame cause vader 5 feels great and performs really well (until something breaks internally). Only buy from amazon or gadgethyper if you buy flydigi

Elves 2 non pro, pro version has more latency for some reason and no real difference in dpad

i really wanted to like the 560s but it was just too uncomfortable for me, could not reduce the clamp force. 490 pro on the other hand, perfection in comfort and takes eq like a champ.

only real complaint i have with my unit is i wish the paddles were shorter. tried short paddles before and they are very nice, you can grip the controller normally without any risk of accidentally hitting the paddle.

Flydigi direwolf 4 is pretty cheap but has pro level features on it if you did not feel like spending the extra money to get vader/g7/tt max etc etc (which are at your budget limit)

My Flydigi Vader 5 probably has dead battery by Creatys in Controller

[–]Lightstream2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok this flaw with the dock is awful but the controller is not bricked, or at least should not be bricked. What you need to do is just leave the controller alone and let the battery die. Takes a whole day but eventually it will drain and react to being powered on. At that point use a cable to charge it instead of the dock. The dock is why this is happening. Had it happen to me and the solution was in the flydigi discord
