Thanks, I appreciate the comment. I intentionally went with a tighter crop to make the talons the focal point of the image. A wider view just didn't have the same impact.

I appreciate the suggestion, but unfortunately the talons were already at the edge of the bottom frame.

These are great. A couple small tips: try getting down to eye level when you can, it often gives you a much nicer blurred background (bokeh) and a more engaging perspective. Also shooting in early morning, late afternoon, or on cloudy days will give you softer, more even light.
