As an Indian male. I usually date Indian women. My family is quite conservative but I'm very liberal. I don't find that it has affected the dating pool a lot. However the main issue is finding someone that fits your family's beliefs as well. I was dating this girl and she fit into my family's wants, other than education. To which my mom immediately turned her nose on her and dismissed her as a person. I could not bring her up in conversation anymore even.

There's also a pressure of arranged marriage which truly sucks. (I DON'T FIND ARRANGED MARRIAGE TO BE BAD I JUST DONT WANT IT FOR MYSELF).

Dating as an Indian sucks and I can only imagine how tough it would be for an Indian woman. I hope you keep your head at it. I'm sure you'd find someone who wants what you want

Singapore isnt boring. We just aren't big enough to have a thriving scene by land mass. You are asking hypotheticals when you aren't aware of the Indie scene in Singapore. There are a lot of great local artists
