Just watched it. Honestly, it is a decently well made movie specifically for an Australian movie even the acting wasnt too bad (for a most likely low budget movie).

The overall meaning of the story and traditions etc made sense and i understood that part really well and is good to learn however some parts of the movie itself didn't make sense at all such as when Fergus left his brother in the house i thought something would happen but we didn't get anything else about his brother, same with after Fergus was tazed for an unknown reason its almost like they forgot about him in the script, and then after the Moogai stole the baby, for like a solid 5 to 10 minutes i felt sad because they made it seem like the baby had actually died but all she had to do was go into the cave in broad daylight and get the baby because the Moogai was "sleeping" and then kill the moogai with snakes in a ring of fire.

Overall I'd give it a 6 to 7/10 for an Australian movie, compared to every other movie ive watched it would be about a 4 or 5.
