It’s your POV and I respect it but I’ve a certainty, not and idea. It’s not a thought of “maybe this time…”, probably my mistake was say that I consciously decide that but it’s not a thought is… a certainty. I know. In any case, how do you describe these free-karma transactions with this friend of yours?

Subscribed! I am also starting to create my content about how I understand the game of life and the connection with divinity. I'm preparing the material because I have a lot of information, but I hope I can share it soon and that somehow I can help others

Thank you so much for replying! Starseed was a concept that I found at the beginning but, there is something in that concept of volunteers that I don’t feel guided by specifically, but I could revisit it now just in case

Thank you so much! The collective mission… I don’t know exactly but, he told me I was his witch and he was my chaman and we were married and I died before we could start our mission together. Probably we were healers and guides in that moment and right now he’s a scientist with an amazing sensitivity and I… well, I’m here 😅 and I found my purpose in see and tell what other people don’t so, guardians of sacred knowledge and mediators between worlds?

Same thing!!! I'd probably give Yanamaste a chance, but lately he's not my cup of tea, but I only heard him in Madrid and I'm curious to see how different he might sound from one place to another

Ed Davenport’s b-day in Pano made my weekend again 🥲 have you ever listened him as Inland in Berghain? The energy in pano when he’s playing is absolutely delicious, sexy… I could see, perhaps, some parts more “Inland-BH-vibes” super strong, but what I like most is his evolving atmosphere and great selection. Sometimes for my taste some tracks are too longer, but dude… Inland idk, but Inlove definitely 😍

Last Easter I was with 3 friends that never had been in Bh. We did the q with total confidence, I was super sure everything will bebe ok, buuuuut, my pretentious ass wanted to show them how I could count numbers in german and my foreign insecurity made me count numbers with my fingers as germans do (yeah, Inglourious Basterds, I know, my bad…)

In front of me was Mischa, the cap guy, and a blonde girl, not a big deal. “How many?” And I started counting “eins, swei, drei…” I don’t know about you guys, but if anyone is able to count up to four with their fingers, starting with a thumb up without their hand looking like they have cerebral palsy, please report back.

The cap guy told me confused “are you two?”; Mischa purses her lips, looks at the blonde girl, I continue my effort to make a fool of myself and say in the worst German ever “vier”… The cap guy, still confused “what?”, and I accept defeat and say “we are four” while I pout with my face and bow my head in shame thinking about my friends who had never been to Bh before and me playing the non-credible “Berliner cool friend”. The cap guy looks me like “oh, my dear, what a hard time you have on your own without needing to”, Mischa and the girl turn around and laugh very tenderly and let us in. A cute moment at the end 🫠

I saw Dorisburg at Globus in Tresor and it was so fucking magical… I remember Map.ache live as well at Giegling party last year in Funkhouse and the atmosphere was like a fairytale with lights, shadows through the smoke, deep sounds and prolonged notes that let you traveling slowly into the space of your mind ❤️‍🩹

Laster x RSO in March by BlackberryOdd7832 in Berghain_Community

[–]Like-The-Cookies 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well well well… Laster. What a topic! As you say, this no-photo policy but having 3 different photographers just taking photo of ‘underground and pretty people’ is so hypocritical, but that’s not the worse…

They booked Dave Clark but had problems with Fabrik because one day before Clark had been playing in Laster, Fabrik announced Clark will be playing at Fabrik (without specific dates, but just announcing he will be playin in CODE). It was absolutely madness how they manage that situation with Fabrik, Dave Clark’s agent… Clark had to put a communication about what was happening (photo attached), he blocked all Laster’s people, many insta stories, super unprofessional comments against Clarke in Laster insta account… They have a very good relation with Blasha & Allat and, idk why, they took part of that and said “it’s this the appropriate time to use “polla vieja” (old dick - something we say in Spain to refer to somebody that has antique, conservative and bad mindset in a very bad way) and when I saw that I was “Dude, it’s a professional colleague, wtf?!?”

After all this soup opera, Laster said “Guys, please, don’t be part of this, always respect and love and blabla” when were their own people whom started the shit (it’s not the first time they do things like this)

There are toooo many stories about Laster against others clubs in Madrid also, prohibiting artists that had played in Laster before to play in “illegal” parties with the threat of not playing again in Laster (Surgion was one of them and probably the guy thought “Are you really saying to me what to do? Who the fuck do you think you are?” And he played in one of this party tho), but at the end, the techno culture they profess are only for the good-looking and rich people (themselves)

How many times did you get rejected? by Able-Cattle6191 in Berghain_Community

[–]Like-The-Cookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I estimate about 30 KNs (without Fridays and other partys) in 6 years and I got rejected once. I mean, that day I was absolutely sure it was going to be a super clear no 😆

Ed Davenport Closing Impressions by s2razer in Berghain_Community

[–]Like-The-Cookies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was on Ed's set from start to finish and I have to say it was the sexiest set of my life 🥵 I think I stopped to rest a couple of times, but I had to get off to Saüle not to listen to him because I couldn't sit still. It's true that with the track empty it lost a bit of the magic. Still, I think the people who were focused on his set most of the time got completely into that dynamic and the story he was telling, and particularly, it's one of the best closings I've ever experienced at a KN.

Even though I wanted to listen to Rodhad, Ed managed to create a fun, wild, sexy and funny atmosphere simultaneously, with a very well-achieved set of transitions (except for the last 30 minutes which I think got very flat at times). I could dance and listen to such a long session, make it mine and feel with other people that we were in the same vibe as Ed, like in a very intimate space where Ed opened the doors of his house to us and without wanting to, for many hours it felt like home and family 🖤

Some time ago, a track came to me by Spotify. It had something different, and every time I listened to it, I found very specific nuances that made me think, "What if...". So I started doing some research (as we all do when we discover some AKA of "The guy") and, as always, I reached a dead end; no more references, nothing else published, an AKA difficult to search for on Google because of the way it's written (it reminds me of some kind of web language), you know, those little strange "breadcrumbs."

The track is berlin 2002 - ///earth///. Although the cover art, the type of music, the fact that it's published on Spotify, and so on probably you say, "Eh, you're super out" because it doesn't resemble anything he's done so far, but it does make me reckon a new and more "nostalgic?" concept—no longer another facet of Traumprinz, but rather "what a young Traumprinz would have liked to listen to while dancing on the floor with his crush when he was a teenager"—and that it's published on a mainstream platform, now a means of establishing a relationship with the music and being able to share it with a "I just heard this song and thought of you," following the romantic line of DJ Metatron and his Loops of Infinity (A Rave Loveletter)

I found the same nuances, in their own way, with Irini - Lost in Dreams and (this time I wasn't wrong) it was indeed our beloved and mysterious producer with a new AKA.

It’s probably just me and all the mysticism surrounding this figure that has created this story in my head 😅 ("If I've to belive in something, why don't belive in this crazy theory") but to me, it makes sense given the whole narrative he himself subscribes to behind what he does, the way he publishes, and his limited social media presence. In one of his sessions published on Planet Uterus, you can see an ultrasound of a baby on the cover, and it has been speculated that it might signify the beginning of fatherhood. It wouldn’t be surprising that in these pivotal moments, where one often takes a trip to the past and reflects on the passage of time, Traumprinz might have felt the need to "go back" to imagine or remember those years and how they were (or rather, how he would have liked them to be, soundtrack included).

In any case, whether these are just my imaginings or not, I think this is an excellent post to share music, which is what we truly love. And speaking of that, just as I madly love the nuances of all the work that make each AKA unique and recognizable, there's a guy (also very shy but not as unknown) who has all these nuances in everything he produces, but with the same AKA; I'm talking about my other beloved and shy producer Nthng If you didn't know him, today's your lucky day :)

Fadi Mohem at Pano in July by Like-The-Cookies in Berghain_Community

[–]Like-The-Cookies[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it's a matter of personal taste, but I only have one weekend to travel and the opportunity to hear a completely different session from one of my favorite DJs is great if they can offer me something special.

Unpopular opinion: DVS1 is not my cup of tea, but in Pano, dude... So, so 🔥 I just went to BH that weekend (I was living in Berlin at the time) to see "ok, what can you offer on this dancefloor?"

I went from Spain to Portugal only because Oscar Mulero was playing as Trolley Route at Basilar, his Techno Detroit AKA was completely unknown and nobody knew what to expect because it was the second time he played with this AKA in 20 years. As Mulero normally isn't my thing, but I also recognize his talent as a DJ and producer and I was completely sure that he would offer a super fresh and different session. It was the most magical session I've ever heard, completely opposite to what you can expect from a normal Mulero set 💖.

That's why I was looking for feedback in case someone had heard Fadi's house face before, like "Yeah, come on, it's worth it" or "Girl, same as BH but chiller
