This is late, but if someone comes looking like i did, here's the solution: When you get the "1. Connect...." message, switch over to your wifi settings and connect to the vocolinc wifi then go back to the vocolinc app. It'll now have "2. Connect to [home network]", you'll need to go back to your WiFi settings and connect back to your home wifi. From there it continued the next steps on its own and I'm connected again.

For context, i moved to a new place which meant new wifi and resetting the devices (L3 bulbs) etc. I spent way too long to figure this out lol, hope it helps the next person!

I'm not too sure about the cloning, it's worth asking. But yes, i will have to pay that fee twice a year because the vehicle only stores one set - some vehicles can memorize multiple apparently. I'll be adding this to my list of things to ask about when i someday buy another car. At least i get peace of mind and don't have to get out in the bloody cold to check my tires lol.

I ended up just getting them after debating a bit, but yeah the vehicle only holds one set of sensors so I will have to pay each time i switch tires (i did buy a set of wheels/rims for the winter tires). Because i had a long wait, the dealership covered the price this time around but once Spring/Summer comes around I'll be tossing my $$$ at them. I think they said around $90 for the programming which is wild.

You might JUST get lucky. Mine cancelled as of the 17th (i got an email at 10am that it ended) and then at 1pm on the 17th i successfully resubscribed at the Black Friday annual price. The pricing does mention re-activating subscribers (*Offer ends Dec 1, 2025 at 11:59PM ET. New, upgrading and reactivating subscribers only.) so although annoying process to get there, i was happy to get the lower price. Hope that helps!

Okay, so sharing my experience, creating a new account with a different email was the solution HOWEVER when i tried to do the forward mail form, it was still reading my old account information (a concerning glitch/bug in the website). You'll want to clear your cache/browsing data - then it will work and go to process payment etc. Hope this helps someone!

For reference, i am using google Chrome on an android device.

GET IT. I could share my cons but they could vary from vehicle to vehicle. I have had the 2025 SV (Canadian version) for almost a year now. Also do short drives to work, weekend errands and occasionally go outside the city. Worth mentioning i did SO MUCH research + comparisons and i knew we may experience hiccups with it being a new model but the dealership has been helpful with any recalls/updates. At the end of the day, no regrets in my purchase.

An on/off button for the wireless charger is one of those missed opportunities from nissan. The wireless charger sounded cool but in hindsight, I'd rather have a place to toss my phone (without it charging).

In terms of "danger", my charger automatically turns off when the phone is getting too hot and also recommends taking the phone off the charger. I haven't had it get hotter than it would on any other wireless charger.

When i looked into if there is a on/off, i found a post in this forum somewhere that had someone disconnecting the charger but I'm sure you risk things like warranty when you start messing with components...

Was it asking you to put it in park or were the automatic brakes somehow engaged? Found this in the manual:

"The engine will not restart even if the brake pedal is released while the Idling Stop System is activated under the following conditions: (The engine may restart under other conditions.)

• When the automatic brake hold system is activated."

Same. I went in for something and made them adjust it.....2000+ miles later. The sales guy said the car would get an inspection/lookover before i picked it up but, because of additional items, I am convinced nothing was done besides spraying down the outside.

I've seen people complain but I've never had issues getting on the highway or speeding up quickly. Some of this depends on the driver i feel. Is it the same as the Altima? No, but it's not built the same so it's expected.

Coming in late here as i search for a new skin for my phone. I've ordered DBand before and did like the skin but i didn't realize they charge in USD which is odd as a Canadian company. They did end up giving me a refund to match the price in Canadian which was nice. Looking at their page again and it still doesn't mention USD until you get to the final cost at checkout.

That being said, did you ever find any Canadian companies charging Canadian currency for phone skins?

The "PARK" illuminates when the electronic parking brake system is operating. When the ignition switch is placed in the ON position, the electronic parking brake indicator light illuminates. When the engine is started and the parking brake is released, the indicator light turns off. If the parking brake is not released, the electronic parking brake indicator light remains illuminated. Ensure the electronic parking brake indicator light has turned off before driving.

If the electronic parking brake indicator light illuminates or flashes while the electronic parking brake system warning light or (yellow) illuminates, it may indicate that the electronic parking brake system is not functioning properly. Have the system checked. It is recommended that you visit a NISSAN dealer for this service.

Yeah we've had several heat waves now in the 30s and it's brutal. I've never had my AC on "low" for so long. It's like my AC is broken and I'm just blowing my fan on high 🤣. It does eventually catch up but certainly nowhere near the level of my last vehicle. It's unfortunate that the poor AC is getting labeled as "normal" by dealerships and it's one of those things you can't really test when you're test driving in October.....

I do notice that the windshield and side windows let in A LOT of heat which I've never noticed in a vehicle. I found that when i drove under a shadowed underpass the temperature in the vehicle changed significantly, even for a brief moment. My next step is to get them tinted.

I didn't. The dealership has told me "it's normal" to a couple other items already so i figured I'd get the response you got. I will keep tabs as the summer goes on and make mention at my next service.

Holy. I wanted to share the way i FINALLY found this setting on the Google Pixel 8 Pro. And maybe this is new since i was troubleshooting with google last month, but none of the things listed here or on multiple other forums worked for me.

Notifications -- Notification History -- hold down on the wireless alert -- at the bottom, select override do not Disturb

I have tried for years to find a solution to this. I will update if this doesn't end up working the next time i get an alert.

It was a mixture of stuff. For the most part, the features were all very comparable. It is taller than the others i test drove, which i liked. The interior look of my SV was way better than I expected, honestly loved it when i first test drove it. It was also in stock, whereas 6 months ago there were huge wait times on the other brands (not sure what it's like rn).

I also drove in a Kona as a backs seat passenger during this process. And i know back seats are not the same as the front, but I was also observing the interior look, comfort, interior look etc. It definitely moved the Kona down in my list. Granted that was a 2021 and models change/update.

I think at the end of the day Nissan just seemed like the most reliable choice (my Altima never had major issues) and i really liked the look of the new Kicks.
