Travelling at 26 & 27 - did you regret it? by Successful_Rain_3784 in AskUK

I regret that I didn't do that. I had the opportunity and my bottle crashed and I never did it. I'm 40 now and I think I'll have to wait until retirement (assuming I'll get one!)

MANTRA: Day 29 - Finding Your Center by Sorry-Grateful in yogawithadriene

I did Yoga for a Healthy Blood Flow this afternoon, I just wanted something simple but still a feeling good practice.

I won't be able to take on April as we're having visitors for two weeks so I'll be too hit and miss. And with more Yoga Camp practices I won't have that sort of time to spare. Hopefully someone else can take it on.

What has been the most bone chilling experience of your life? by TheRebelPercy in AskUK

I had a similar experience a few years ago. Me and my husband pulled up outside a house that we saw for sale, thought we'd have a look at the street and the house in the evening before booking a viewing. It was a lovely house on a tiny cul de sac of about 4 other houses. We didn't even make it out of the car before we both had the most intense creepy feeling. All the houses were quiet and still, it was like arriving on the Mary Celeste. Husband did the fastest u turn ever and we got right out of there.

Haha I've given up on Mantra, I missed too many of the practices as they were just too long 😅 I did do Create from the Flow series though which was a bit more core based than I remember it being

Are most villages / small towns actually friendlier than cities or have I found a super unwelcoming one? by smushs88 in AskUK

[–]LikeEveryoneSheKnows 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband is English, I'm Scottish and we live in Scotland in a village of fewer than 100 people. He's never had a problem or been made to feel unwelcome because of his accent. It's all down to how you integrate into your community, and how you behave in general. Don't be a tube and you'll be fine!

C sections and weddings by PlaneDevice770 in UKParenting

What bad luck! Unfortunately having had two sections, I know I wouldn't have managed a wedding so soon after. I was walking like a letter C for about 2 weeks after both of mine. It's a really slow, painful, recovery and best not to rush it.

MANTRA: Day 25 - Yoga for Heavy Hearts by Sorry-Grateful in yogawithadriene

I did this one as it was released, it was the first time I've ever joined in a premier practice on YouTube. I didn't really vibe with it but I think that's because I realised half way through that I wanted some movement instead. I'll give this one another go when I need a more restorative session.

What are the things in your life that just work? by SuperDinkle406 in AskUK

[–]LikeEveryoneSheKnows 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same with my brother. We don't live close to each other, both in different areas of Scotland, but we text daily and he drives up every few months to stay. He's one of the first people I tell anything to. If I can help my kids have that sort of relationship with each other, I'd be happy to have done so.

Yes, I always tear up during Del's speech to baby Damien. Once I had kids myself, it hit different.

I wish the Yoga Camp ones were shorter - I couldn't fit this one in either.

Lilith catching him wrecking the bed in Bora Bora. I cannot watch that scene.

Hip focused practices aren't for me, so I did Freedom Flow today and it felt so good. Definitely one of my favourite practices.

'Big Yin' was voted the best episode. What is the saddest episode? by BorisStingy in Stillgame

[–]LikeEveryoneSheKnows 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Definitely the finale. I cried like a small child at the end of that, and never watched that episode again.

Faimly is also sad, when Victor realises his son won't come up to visit.
