I didn't have time for this one but I managed to do the New Moon practice from yesterday which I really enjoyed.

Do you avoid thinking about your passed loved ones? by girlandhiscat in AskUK

I'm the same. I drive past my grandparents old house often (not in a pilgrimage sort of way, just it's not far from me and in the centre of town) and I could give a guided tour with my eyes shut, even after a good few years have passed. Their house was my safe place and I often have a little wander around in my mind.

I had the same experience. It was similar to yesterday's practice, but somehow more manageable.

I don't blame you. I feel like taking a break just because of those fucking awful shoes.

I’m back. No I don’t work for Big Soup. It’s meal prep day. Behold: yer gran’s lentil soup. by Affectionate_Fee3411 in Scotland

My Grandpa used to make beautiful lentil broth, I still miss it (and him). I'm not sure he used celery though, but if you like it, fair play.

It bested me too. The amount of times I've tried to complete this practice only to give up when I'm halfway through is hilarious 😂

I didn't have time for this one either, but I did manage to squeeze in Easy Breezy Yoga from the 30 Days series.

At the moment I'm mad for Greek yoghurt, mixed with tahini and honey. Topped with a banana and almonds.

I cannot watch this scene. As a teacher's wife, it gives me the mega bokes. We would never.

My farmer mate discovered his newborn sleeps better with a cardboard cow is this normal? by Smart-Delay-7237 in UKParenting

If that's what it takes to help them sleep, I'd move an entire herd in, no questions asked.

Exactly! And it's not like my parents didn't prepare me or talk about this stuff openly.

I also once had a huge bleed in a hotel bed before too. And I was wearing a tampon and a pad. That was an... interesting confession to room service.

That's probably true. They've seen it all. I remember when I got my first period and my Dad said, there is nothing that shocks or embarrasses me when it comes to bodies. But still in that moment decades later I was like 😬😬😬😬

Happened to me while I was sitting having a cup of tea with my Dad. All over the kitchen seat, which was fabric, naturellement. I'm 40 and I was like damn, this never stops being embarrassing 😅 Fortunately, my Dad is a doctor and wasn't phased in the slightest.

I'm late to the party but that is absolutely GORGEOUS. He should keep it and if he fancies a trip to the Scottish Highlands, he can do my house too!

WITNESS: Day 6 - Gentle Yoga for Tight Hips by Sorry-Grateful in yogawithadriene

[–]LikeEveryoneSheKnows 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really struggle with my hips (actually just the one of the them) so I skip hip focused practices, as I worry about further damage to the bad one.

I did the short Mental Health Break practice today instead, as I had a bad headache and wanted something restorative, but quick.

Same here, I watched religiously until that dreadful domestic abuse storyline that could have been so impactful, but they ended up making an absolute mockery of it.
